Not a large establishment, but we were able to find a couple of bar-stools even on a "crowded" Saturday evening. The patrons are pretty cool. There was an extremely inebriated fellow there, which was funny. The bartenders are fairly decent. It doesnít really have a German feel to it, but I have no basis for comparison, so you can ignore this statement. They have a lot of steins, and MaŖkrŁges there just sitting about, which does add to the ambiance. After visiting quite frequently they give you your own personal stein, which is awesome. The tap selection is unimpressive, but if you just want to get hammered on some German-style lagers, then this is your place. Also, I liked it because itís not so pretentious. Decent place to hang out and get a beer. Also, itís not too far from Naked City.

Cozy bar that works hard at imitating a German bar. Not that real though. It is more like our clique expectations of a German bar. The food is a little over priced and not that authentic. Germans donít eat Brezels with mustard from Oregon. The German draft selection is pretty good and better that most bars in Germany. Still good if you want German beer on tap and drink it in a 1L mass.

They do essentially the same thing as Die Bierstube on the other side of I-5. Not a huge place, but they do turn out lots of great German beers in proper glassware. Lots of old-country decorations. Very festive and friendly place and easy to sit down for one beer and end up plowing your way through the whole tap list, talking to everybody, and ordering a couple plates of food. Doesnít look super homey at first but just feels right when you settle in. Slightly less college-kid-like than Bierstube due to location.
