Defintily has a gourmet grocery, wine store feel which I quite like. I donít like worrying about things like cleanliness or expired product and this place is popular enough with good enough inventory controls, it seems, that wouldnít happen. Staff was cordial and professional. Selection was fantastic for a town of this size. It was well curated and contained a lot of the newest and greatest in craft beer that you can get in that part of the state. The only debit were the prices which were the highest I saw on my trip. Still itís a nice store and Iíd love to live a community that a place of such high quality.

Provisions has an up-market feel. Itís nicely laid out and everything is neatly displayed with hand-written labels. Thereís a large wine selection and a great range of cheeses, cooked meats and other sundries such as chutneys, picked vegetables, savoury and sweet biscuits and chocolate. Thereís also a very good choice of beers from near and far (local states, other parts of North America and Europe). The prices were very good - not at all inflated as they can be in stores like this. A really good find, and bang in the centre of town with parking outside. (Visited 30 October 2012).

Echo the previous comment. Best bottle-shop in Northampton. Right downtown. Fantastic wine selection as well. Most beers are singles. Decent prices too, given the location.

I stopped in here to score some cheeses, of which they have a fantastic selection, and was really impressed with the beer selection. A good focus on limited release local and regional stuff, as well as good breadth in the German, English, and Belgian imports, including, for example Drie Fonteinen, which I donít see everywhere. I donít think thereís a better place to look for bottled beer to go in Northampton.
