Very good pub, where go to drunk one good beer.
The owner, Erika is a very charismatic person with her knowledge of the beer, suggest the client with particularariy combination.
Good beer list and well-prepared food.
Very good landscape (near the shoreline) but the external room affected by this proximity (only for the design)
Absolutely recommended to go there!!!
Un ottimo posto dove andare a bere una buona birra, suggerita dalla proprietaria Erika, un pozzo di conoscenza e di grinta.
Ottima la carta delle birre e il cibo che è ben preparato.
un po sfortunato l’ambiente esterno che risente del panorama proposto.

Locale carino, vicino al mare.
Solo 4 spine, però ottima scelta di bottiglie, anche se non segnate sulla lista.

This was once the best pub in Genova by far, run by beer enthusiast Roberto (now owner of O’ Connor Pub) and offering exquisite dishes from chef Erika Cusano; during the years, due to Roberto’s increasing estrangement, its quality has filtered down a bit, most evidently in the choice of bottles and kegs. Now it has become a 100% restaurant in the hands of Erika and still retains two good fridges, but selection is not impressive and most of the beers (Italian micros and Belgian classics) are provided by local distributor Timossi, resulting in higher prices than before. Anyway the main feature of the pub is its wonderful location on a small beach at the edge of the city; in the summer the atmosphere is breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit, even if its golden age seems to have finished.

ila location e’ splendida proprio in riva al mare di nervi , le spine sono tutte in ottime condizione ma nelle mie 3/4 visite non ho mai trovato vere chicche.. molto meglio la selezione in bottiglia con un buon mix italia/straniere.. l’ultima volta ho bevuto 2 bocce di shclenkerla (non rauch) veramente ottime ..

Absolutely amazing osteria with the best list of beer in Liguria, and a vast menu ofbeer from Piedmont. The food is very good too.

Absolutely charming osteria and pub with a terrace overlooking the crashing waves of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Wow. The chef here creates wonderful dishes of the utmost simplicity. Perfumy, flavorful, titillating. The beer list (bottles and tap) is very appealing. If you are looking for Italian microbreweries they’ve got some very good ones (Maltus Faber should be there too now) and if you want some quality Belgians, they are there too (Taras Boulba? Why, yes!). Had a splendid evening here thanks to Massimo and Kuaska, but the place can stand on its own. It may be a little out of Genova for those not used to the area, but I know I’ll do everything I can to come back next time I am in town.

The best place to drink beer in Genova: always great variety on tap and especially in the bottles: you can go there every evening for a year and never drink the same thing. The food is wonderful, too: great Italian dishes, handmade pasta with delicious dressing, great meat dishes and, obviously, fish. The price is not high, neither for food nor for beer. The atmosphere is great: with a wonderful terrace facing the sea, in a little bay at the east end of the city, in a part of Genova which was a little separate town (Sant’Ilario) until the 1930s. The service is competent and impeccable: the waiters and the owner are kind and professional. You find great bottles here, from the best Italian micro brewers (Montegioco, Barley, Le Baladin..), from Belgium (including a good selection of true lambic, mostly from Cantillon), from the USA (Rogue, Flying Dog, Anchor, Great Divide) and other parts of the world. Just one thing: do not trust the list very much, always ask if they got something special... they always do!
