Both in quantity and quality this stands out among the best places for craft beer in Ottawa, although thatís not saying a whole lot. Usually has an interesting special or cask on. I personally didnít like the food, but Iíd go back for drinks over most places in Ottawa.

Beer bible is awesome. Could do without some of the mainstream beers that you can get anywhere. Great selection of Belgian Trappist beers. Equally good selection of Canadian craft. I would highly recommend it to beer enthusiasts.

Nice enough tap list for Ottawa, lots of bottles, but nothing someone scouring the LCBO couldnít get, and very overpriced. Food has been hit and miss.

Funky Abbey-like atmosphere with plenty of kitschy stuff to look at. Very compartmentalized throughout. Friendly staff. The beer selection was fairly extensive but not organized in a way beer geeks would appreciate. For example "coolers and lambics"???? Of the beers available, there were a few nice selections and a number of local crafts but the bulk of them were mass-produced stuff you can get at the LCBO.

I rarely say things like this, but, I have absolutely no idea why this place is popular on Ratebeer. When we were there, most of the taps were only mass marketed international beers (Kilkenny and friends) and some C-grade Ontario micros. Doesnít really have a special atmosphere, either. Much preferred the Manx for that. For beer, though, gotta go to Gatineau.

Pub Italia is without a doubt the greatest Pub in the city of Ottawa. A selection of specialty beers that absolutely cannot be beaten. Good food, but a little pricy. Better than the average bar food though.

Excellent pub and restaurant in Ottawaís Little Italy district (bus #85 from downtown). Has a unique quirky atmosphere. Large selection of European beers, fewer local brews.

Can be busy and sometimes the hours may thow you off a bit. Typical pub atmosphere. Fairly good service. Food can be hit or miss but one of the better selections in Ottawa. Micros and Imports. Prices are about what you would expect. One of the few Ottawa places you may be able to enjoy Westy 12. Parking can be a chore. Even if you come when this place is packed or clsed there is some good Italian eats on Preston.

Donít ask the waitressís any advice they really donít have a clue. Everytime its their first day., The best beer selection in Otttawa. Little expensive but Iíll never get board of this place. Food is cheap and really tasty.
