I could boastfully explain 37 diplomatically varying reasons why this was my first beer-oriented stop in Temecula, such as its stellar selection, friendly & prompt service, or of course its impeccable location positioned on Main Street, but the matter of the fact is this place was the only bar that opened its doors earlier than 1 pm in Old Town Temecula during the week, and having lived through a nightmarish flight the day before I severely needed a drink. I arrived at 11:30 am, and because of this I sat where I liked and had been attentively waited on by two bartenders. Their website looks as if it was startlingly underfunded and had been lazily created on MS Paint, but it managed to list a few beers I was excited to order, namely Pliny the Elder and Eel Riverís Noel Climax. I was told that those were the beers they carry most often and will get more before the end of the week. PtE had been kicked since the day before, but another round was going to be tapped at 1:30 pm. I enjoyed hearing their taps rotate almost everyday; in order to find out any new offerings, you should drop in and see whatís been added to the draft. Their specialty cocktails were flavorful and perfect for any occasion, although a fair amount of money has to be spent and requires keeping your cool when the bill comes. The house drinks here tend to be incredibly sweet, as is often the case, but if thatís your thing, knock yourself out. The bartenders didnít appear to be extra knowledgeable about the three beers I consumed, but they had given me information if I ever was interested enough to find out for myself. This is a nice spot, perhaps the nicest in Temecula, but I donít think Iíd bother going after 5pm: the heat lamps and fire pit in the back indicated that during the evenings and the nights it would be jam-packed with locals and tourists alike, and so Iím happy I arrived early and left early. Overall, neat place. Its unpretentiousness will make anyone feel relaxed.

Perfect beer spot in old town temecula with 30 craft beer taps. Nothing I hadnít tried but itís still a very good product selection. Nice outdoor bar, knowlegeable bartender and some hearty gourmet burgers. Great set up - but check out Barley & Hops too.

This is a little place in the old section of Temecula which means it isnít over run with chains and hotels. I stopped in on a Wednesday night early and was able to have a couple of beers during their happy hour. I was very happy. About 20 beers on tap including Russian River, Alesmith and a couple of small locals. Not to forget a couple of taps devoted to Victory in my part of the country. Service was very good and knowledgeable. It wasnít real crowded so the bar man spent a good deal of time chatting with me. I had a tuna steak that was excellent and sat next to a couple who had a salad and a burger that they both said were great. Stop in when in town.

Nice little place in old town Temecula. Aesthetically, the place reminds me of a smaller Stone World Bistro. The back patio has a spot for live music, and there is lots of fire pits and water falls. The tap list is above average. The food was excellent. Probably one of the better Reubens that I have had. The service was absolutely abysmal, although itís somewhat excusable because there was car show going on and the place was packed. However, our server wasnít the friendliest gal I have ever met. Still, a good spot, and probably the best beer bar in the Temecula/Murrieta area.
