Second stop on the Slovenia vs Serbia gamenight. Smoked place. Good service. PilsPlus and Weifert dark on tap, Efes Draft on bottle. Not a place I would go to again and one I would skip if I had limited time in the city.

My friends brought me here as it was one of their regular haunts - and because it’s the only place they know of that serves Weifert Tamno, one of the best beers in Serbia, on draft. Some reviews of this place claim that it carries 20 different beers in bottles - didn’t notice as much, but the selection is certainly better than in most if not all other places listed on RB. Pils Plus and Amstel are the other two choices on draft, and United Serbian Breweries products seem to be the norm here. Not too crowded when we arrived and relatively dark, with footie on the television. Everyone seemed to be drinking the dark Weifert. So we first ordered a round of quince rakija (dunjevača), which smelled lovely but was just a bit too hard on alcohol for its own good. Then I proceeded to order the Weifert and was told by the helpful waiter that they were just out. Damn. Worth visiting for that beer, and it’s an ok place on its own to boot.
