Visited on a Wednesday evening in November 2015. Busy modern looking bar, it was busy but offered table or seat at the bar. Opted for the later. Decent range of draught beer but not a lot too spectacular. Service was good prices not bad. Just didnít have a nice buzz to the place for me. Maybe too hip and trendy for the Rater

Alright gastropub style place in trendy part of Capitol Hill. Decent beer selection, nothing terribly special, but you should be able to find something worth drinking. Busy at happy hour. Not purely a beer destination but for mixed company, not a bad spot

Mostly wanted to stop here because of the Bourdain recommendation on The Layover. But, they have beer too, so why note...

Sort of a gastropub more than a bar...more than a beer bar, anyway. Lots of cocktails/spirits to choose from. Nice wooden interior. Clean, simple decor.

Beer list is mostly local offerings from Seattle and the state of Washington if you want to be more general. Pricing on most of the local stuff was a reasonable $5-7, though a few imports were in the eye rolling $10+ range.

With so much beer offered in Seattle, I wouldnít say that you would want or need to come out of the way to try this place out. But itís a worthy joint and itís near some other interesting places.

Ambiance--lovely place in a funky part of Seattle. Service--very good, smart. Food--fabulous; come here for the food, and the Wild Boar Sloppy Joe gets great reviews from many, the desserts are excellent. Value--surprisingly good, too, for high end food. Selection--well...not so great. Two beers on the menu were off, replaced by others. The selections are decent but itís not a deep selection and theyíre not worth going out of your way for. The food is, though.

Good but small selection of beers. Best food (Spur also has great food) for a Pub in Seattle. Also good selection of bourbon.

I must admit that because my hamburger and my companion food sucked we probably will not go back. Good selection, but overpriced.

this score is a little higher for all the things this place does well beside beer, and thats definitely a good thing. really cool corner setting on busy streets surrounded by shops and nightlife. walls of windows, nice carpentry inside, attractive bar, with dining rooms on the main floor and in the loft space. great tap lineup, plenty of worthy choices in the bottle. great bourbon and scotch programs. ambitious kitchen and cool, friendly, solid staff. not a place for the bargain conscious, but in all other ways an awesome addition to the beer scene.

Iím not sure why someone would enter a "place" and then not rate it, so Iíll be the first. This is definitely a unique place. Ridiculous menu of exotic cuisine. Like foie gras and octopus and shit. The people who pretend to like that type of food seem to regard this place very highly. As a fairly picky eater the only thing I found palatable was a sausage and mashed potato dish. The atmosphere is cozy. Clientele, pretentious. Beer selection rather small but quality. Nothing rare at all. I think they have like 15 taps, and then collection of decent bottles. Borderline rip-off.
