Visited later in the evening on a Wednesday. Visited with a few friends, and sat at the bar for beers. This is a big, modern space attached to Stranahan’s Distillery. The beer selection is local focused, and well chosen. They had just done an Upslope event and had quite a few of their beers on. The service was good, the vibe was good. I would certainly visit again.

yet another fantastic pub in south denver-This place is mainly a distillery however, they have 25 taps of mostly CO brews-staff is very helpful. Food is excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I had alot of good beers at this place the few days i was in Denver. A must go to place (top 5 in Denver).

This is definitely what you’d expect from a restaurant connected to a distillery but they also had a lot of good local brews on tap. The ambience is fantastic. It feels like a storehouse for a distillery and the place reeks of whiskey. The food was good. The only caveat is that parking might be tough to come by but this was a really cool place.

[Update - originally rated Feb. 14th 2010 - they have really stepped it up in the selection department over the past year - they often get very limited release beers from smaller CO breweries and often have tap takeovers where brewers bring some pretty interesting stuff - now, I do come here just for beer and the food is a bonus - get the chili - doesn’t matter what kind - it’s all tasty) First, I must say that I really love my wife - she is the only woman I know that would suggest a mini pub crawl for valentine’s day - anyway, this was our lunch stop - large bar/restaurant inside the Stranahan’s Whiskey Distillery - in a desolate-looking, industrial area of Denver - average, fairly attentive staff - the menu is pub grub with a creative twist (for example, fresh cornbread served with jalapeno custard and cranberry compote as spreads) - the food is reasonably priced, and rather good - about 20 taps, focusing solely on CO micros - mostly the big 4 (NB, OB, Odell, Avery), but there are a few smaller breweries represented (Dry Dock, Crabtree) - nothing exciting, but you’ll find something good - their focus on local beer, produce, etc. is something to be respected - a small performance space leads me to believe that live music is often a feature, and from what I understand, there is a cover charge when bands are playing - this is a decent place - I would come back for the food, but I wouldn’t make it a stop simply for beer.

This place has a cool vibe and is decorated nicely. Service is great and the only reason it didn’t get a ten is because they weren’t serving beer in the proper glassware. The food is great and the selection is decent. All CO taps with the exception of one out-of-state, however, they typically get in smaller breweries and cool limited releases. They offer flights of four partial pours, with the exception of high alcohol options. The food is delicious and the burgers practically melt in your mouth. Pretty cool place and one of my favorite places to go in Denver. Well worth a stop if you are in the Denver area.

My favorite beer bar in town. For me, a convenient location, awesome selection (20 rotating all-craft taps), fantastic food, and AMAZING staff! They often have rare things on tap and beer-related events so follow their facebook/website! Their burgers and pizza and mac n cheese are all ridiculously tasty. I’ve never had bad food here.

This place is just outside the main downtown area, located next to I-25. The space is huge, open and airy. Nice, well thought out beer selection, and your choice of Stranahan’s Whiskey. The food is prepared nicely and is reasonably priced. Great place to break away from downtown traffic.

Cool little place attached to Stranahan’s. Quite a good tap list and the food was excellent as well. Nice atmosphere with barrels surrounding the tables. A nice long bar with lots of Stranahan whiskey bottles. Service was friendly but a bit slow. Parking outside. Prices were reasonable. I had a great time there.

Has the appearance of a cellar-turned bar, with racked oak barrels as decoration and a big long bar. Didn’t get any food, but the beer selection was superb, featuring some of the best brews CO has to offer, plus some rare stuff. Very friendly staff who knows their stuff and is liberal with "samples"

Some rare one off’s here on occasion. I try to pop in every once in a while. The food is excellent and if you’re into spicy food, don’t miss the Spicy Chicken Green Chili. Nice atmosphere.
