Small place since on Sunday night in December there’s no patio outside. Well it wasn’t crowded anyway. Zwickelbier was reason good enough to get there. Otherwise the selection is very limited. Service was alright.

Nice location close to the old town and the river Elbe.As the name indicates, not a large selection, but the Zwickelbier is worth a stop, if you are passing by. Pretty crowded in the main season.

The only beer place that I could find in the general main tourist area near Semper Opera House, Zwinger Palace, Frauenkirche, etc. Very small and narrow building with a few levels. If you’re sitting outside on top, it’s lovely with a great view of the Elbe River. Inside is rather tight, though. Service was friendly, but rather slow. The beers are only Radeberger, but the zwickl was pretty nice. The food was very good. Other than the slow service, it’s really not as bad as the score would indicate, plus it was all that I could find in the area

Narrow, "noble" brewery-tap stretching over three floors from the banks of the river Elbe to the "Brühlsche Terasse"; the "roof" serves as entrance from the "Brühlsche Terasse" and as patio. Their patisserie is excellent, try the "Eierschecke", a local variation of cheese-cake. The beer, the beer isn’t better than in any other Radeberger pub; added yeast doesn’t covert a Swill-Pilsener into a world-class brew......

Restaurant on a beautiful location in DResden. In summer you can sit outside and enjoy a view on the Elbe river with lots of steam boats. The inside is ratzher nice, too - walls with wooden panels and the basement bar has copper tanks for the unfiltered Radeberger. This is the only place outside Radeberg, where you can taste Radeberger Zwickel, i.e. the unfiltered Radeberger. The food menu looks nice, but the place is not cheap. Friendly staff, nice place with lots of athmosphere - worth a visit if you are in Dresden.
