As mentioned below, they do have Russian River, which is something that Perryís does not have. These guys also have some more local beers than some of the bigger stores in the area have (Perryís, Cís, Bevmo, etc). Prices are decent, the service is friendly, and he had the Niner game playing so there was something to listen to while I browsed the beer fridges. I ended up buying two bottles, both IPAs from a local brewery (Working Man). Sounds like the Pliny and Blind Pig run out very quickly when they come in, which is more or less the case everywhere, but he does get them so feel free to use that knowledge and chase the delivery truck, losers.

There are better places in town, but if your passing by this place its worth a stop. Pretty good selection of big Belgians, plus most of the local brews from RR, Bear Republic, North Coast, Port/Lost Abbey, Moylans, Lagunitas etc.. just not very proactive. In other words: they have what they have, and they get what they get. They have managed to be cheaper than most stores. I got a bottle of RR consecration for 4 dollars cheaper than other places. Not bad. The staff is friendly, but pretty much leaves you to your own devices, which is OK by me.

I donít know if chimaybier owns the place or what, but this place was nothing amazing. Maybe I went on a bad week, but I have been to 20 spots just as simple in the eastbay, accept for the lost abbey/port bottles..

Your typical liquor store with some craft brews. I donít think this area has enough knowledgable craft beer seekers for them to dedicate shelf space to the really good stuff. Iíll try againg in the Fall.
