Very crowded when we went. Prices a bit high. Good enough selection of beers on tap--no dogs, really, though maybe not particularly imaginative when compared to Tokyo or even Osaka standards. Still, the best selection of Japanese Craft on tap west of Osaka, I guess. You will surely want to come here if you are drinking beer in town.

From the people behind Golden Garden. The bar can be found just around the corner. Nice enough place with the classic Japanese beer bar fitout, thus light wooden bar top, benches and stools, stainless steel wall taps behind the bar, low lighting etc. Beer list was nothing special BUT for one beer which I was surprised to see. Shonan Belgian Stout (8%) which I ordered a second glass it was tasting that good. Very expensive though - 4 small beers cost me nearly $40. Yep no need to tell me...that hurt. Staff went about their business, it appears very little English is spoken here.
