This is on a busy street not far from down town. Luckily they have a small attached parking lot in the alley. Kind of a crappy looking area but a very nice store inside. Glad I stopped in and checked it out. They have a long row of beer fridges and several aisles of shelves mixed in with the other (non-beer) stuff. They have some good stuff from Hair of the Dog, Cascade, Deschutes, and plenty of other imports in addition to the California beers. The service was friendly and asked several times if I needed any help. Not really on my normal route but I could definitely see myself stopping in on occasion when in the area.

Went on 6/17/13. Had several Founders beers including the Breakfast Stout, Curmudgeon Old Ale and Dirty Bastard, which was a nice surprise. No Russian River of any kind that day. Had the usual selection of Stone, Bruery and other so-cal locals. Overall a pretty wide selection, definitely worth checking out, but comes up a bit short on sours

Hidden gem thatís off the expected pathway to beer glory. Got a hot tip that I might find some Cantillon here. I did, and it was sitting on the shelf (1 bottle of ANY Cantillon per customer limit). Havenít seen that since I left Rome in March. Otherwise, some rare-ish Lost Abbey brews and a great selection of CA beer, plus some good Euro-craft. Iíll make the drive here again.

Good selection of beer and spirits for a small liquor store. Everybody is friendly and willing to go out of there way to help.

Pretty cool spot not to far from my home. Avg. size liquor store that is very clean. There where about 5 customers when I came in at 1 pm. Huge wall of tequila, chips on the side, stone swagger, (yes I used that stupid retarted word) and a huge refrigerator full of micros, some macros, and sodas. Nobody bugs you when your looking for beer, unlike in other liquor stores that ask you "what the fuck are you doin?" when looking for beer. They have a nice selection of Cal beers with plenty of Russian River, some Bruery, Bootlegers, Stone and other stuff. Along with some other US beers and belgiums. One of ther workers (maybe the owner) is very knowledgeable, of course, somebody has to be. I ask for Alpine Pure Hoppiness, and he told they havent been distributing lately. So no Alpine : ( . I ended up buying a bottle of The Abyss which by April is impossible to find in bottle. Price was avg. And the cashier was very nice. Watch out for the IPAís though, some of them are there collecting dust. They need a pland for that cause some of them like Oskar Gubna was alread past 6 months and Kern River Just was not so fresh at all. SO PLEASE!!!! Move the IPAís or get rid of them. Overall, a nice place they get rare beer from time to time so its worth cheking them out now and then.

Very unexpected gem. Thanks to the guys over at the hottest of knives blog annual bike ride, I got to check it out. Mostly a tequilla shop, but they have a fantastic beer cooler as well. Lots of west coast offerings, and some unique stuff from other parts of the world as well. A weird spot, but worth checking out.

Visited on 02/25/08. Dodgy Boyle Heights neighborhood. Ambiance was typical liquor store, with displays of impossibly hot chicks enticing one to buy this or that liquor. Pretty good selection of craft beers, though nothing like the rare (to the west coast) beers found at Walnut Liquorette or Lone Hill Liquor. One staff member was enthusiastically discussing Stone Beers (I think) with a customer in Spanish. They also have Stone T shirts for sale for $15.00 each. I picked up a couple of bottles: one I had never seen before and one I hadnít seen in at least a year. Overall, probably not worth the trip unless youíre within a few blocks of the place. Iíd rather drive 30+ miles to Walnut or Glendora than 8 miles here.

This is the BEST beer store in Los Angeles. They have more imports and micro-brews than any other specialty store Iíve visited. They also have them refrigerated unlike some others. The prices are good too you canít go wrong here.

This place has the largest beer and tequila selection in the area. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The selection available at this place canít be found for several miles around. Great place within minutes of Downtown Los Angeles.
