best selection in the area = good rating!

One of my favorite places to buy beer. Overall a good selection of good beers, a little spotty on German beers though. This is the only place I know of that sells the Aventinus liquor. Good assortment of English beers too.

This place has a wide selection of 6 packs from US micros and their German section has grown. Lots of big bottles from US micros, a good amount of German bottles and a growing section of English bottles. Knowledgeable staff for the most part. Definitely the best place in Bergen County, NJ to shop for beer.

I heard from some local swill drinkers that this places was very expensive. They should have said expansive!. I walked in to find many a RATEBEER shelf tag! Met their beer an, MATT, and talked for hours. They have a very good selection, from all over the world. And special orders are no problem.

I stop in here often on my way through on Jersey 17. They always have a great selection of sixers, and have a nice area for bigger bottles. Pretty good prices ususally and people who are willing to help you if you need it. They usually get new releases which is a plus. Breweries like Mikkeler, Southern Tier, they even carry some FFF on certain occasions, and tehy sell Troegs too. These are just a few because they have a ton of imports as well and tend to get some magnums and Jeraboams of some things. Generally I find something here.

Best selection of beer locally, with some rarities and solid beers as well. Prices are very good considering the selection. Worth a trip if your close.

Without meaning to be repetitive but this place has their con: it’s shabby from the outside, not a lot of space allocated for beer, and the price tag for the beer. With that said, think of it as a diamond in the rough. It never gets congested in the aisles, the (vast) selection will not disappoint and there is always someone asking if you need any help finding something. I still rate the "value" of RL high because the price to selection ratio is still worthwhile. Unrelated: they have a top-notch Port selection.
