Raptureís service is always friendly... and whatís better than sitting out on the mall during the summer? Beer selection has shrunk. The two rotating taps are gone. Food is priced higher than what itís probably worth, but itís tasty nonetheless.

Draft beer selection is small. Once in a while theyíll put something on thatís a little more special, but generally pretty run-of-the-mill. Prices are high on beer and food, though the food is pretty awesome. The service isnít good. And a couple of the bartenders are real butt heads (for lack of a harsher, yet more fitting term).

66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 12/20
FINALLY made it here, and I see that Iím the first review is almost 5 years, so let me update some things. I didnít get an exact count but there are about 10 taps, and they try to have a cask on frequently as well. During my visit the taps were mostly Devils Backbone and Heavy Seas, but they had just done a beer dinner with those two and they usually have more variety (not that you can go wrong with those two breweries). The word around town the last few months is that they have really been stepping up their game. Not sure what the bottle selection looks like, or if there even is one. The bar is smallish and old. It looks cramped behind the bar, and the lighting is poor, so Iím not sure how theyíre supposed to tell if those glasses are really clean. The service was very friendly but I have to question the management because they were woefully unprepared for customers at 1PM on a Saturday. I know Friday night is busy but damn they had already been open an hour and a half. Beer prices were quite high. Food prices were a little better and the food was tasty. The vibe is a little weird, as the mall side entrance has very little seating, and youíre basically right next to the kitchen and serving station. In the back is the bar, pool tables and more seating. There is also seating on the mall which is all the rage when the weather is nice. They have a club (R2) in the way back that gets crazy when you would expect it to. I went to a party there once and remember some decent beer available back there as well.

We came for a late lunch and had fantastic service in a mostly empty place. Itís very...authentic(?) on the inside with two pool tables in the smoking section as well as a small dance floor in the back. The beer selection was mediocre, featuring one Starr hill beer and not even a handful of other craft brewed beers. The food was fantastic, however. I had the club which was almost too big to eat, and my bossí burger was great according to him. Iíll give it a good rating for food, but donít consider it a beer stop.

They do offer some reasonable beer here. Starr hill products are some of the most notable. I recommend the spicy peanut bowl.
