Dark, kinda rough-around-the-edges place with enough charm I guess. Friendly staff, wasnít too crowded. Good selection on tap and in bottles, but they were tapped out of the first 3 beers I tried to order; who knows how many more they were tapped out of that I didnít try to order. Food was fine but nothing to rave about. Prices reasonably good for NYC. Noisy, and most of that noise seemed to be coming from the TV. Beer list was good enough to bring me back, but the ambiance was enough for my wife to prevent us from coming back :)

This place seemed to be a bit scruffy, in a lived-in sort of way. Dark interior, lots of wood. Long bar and plenty of tables to the side and in back. Beer list was OK, although a number of things on the list had ben tapped. Flights of four are available. Service was OK, wasnít very crowded. Food was tasty enough.

2PM on a Wed bar filled but quiet atmosphere. Decent selection of all styles. Prices a tad high. BCBS on tap... Good stop.

Pretty close to to Empire State building so pretty easy to find when on fot. Many subway stations close by. Noisy, dark, slow serice, unclear flight rules, dirty toilet. Minors allowed until 9.00 PM. Not impressed by their beer list. And more expensive then other NYs.

First Manhattan bar stop of the day. Classic dark and wood heavy bar with beery paraphernalia behind the bar. The beer list was less than impressive on my visit. I take it that perhaps they had a Stone event or something of the like but there was over twenty Stone and Rogue beers combined on the draft list. No fault of the bar, I was just disappointed to not find more local beers on offer. I guess they like to please the NYC crowd here. I ordered the chicken wrap for lunch which was average. The overall service was on the slower side considering it wasnít too busy. Itís worth a visit and no doubt the experience will vary with each visit.

Good information on beers outside bar. Nice place during days but gets very noisy and crowded in evenings and nights. Litlle bit of overrated.
