Stopped in here on a quick trip to NYC to wait for my train out of town. Got in around 4:30 and got a seat at the bar. The place has about 40 rotating taps and 3 casks. The beers were mostly local and east coast beers. The service was good and i could tell that the girls knew their beers. There seemed to be alot of regulars around at all times and they seemed friendly enough, knowlegable and enthusiastic about beer. Didnít try the food. The girl behind the bar gave me a free pint glass when i asked to buy one. Rate beer was represented on the menu and that always makes me :-)

Great place for beer in NYC. Place is full with beer posters, taps and whatever. Ambiance is good. Food was not good for me (donít order the roast beef).

Stopped by this place twice udring our NYC trip. Hands down the best overall beer bar we visited (and we went to quite a few). Smallish in total area (what do you expect in Manhattan?), but does have quite a bit of seating in the back. Large tap list with a great selection. Bartenders were great and knowledgable. The only bad thing I can say was that the bathrooms stunk pretty bad. Other than that, it was awesome.

Sweet little place to go. Lucky for me, it was just a few blocks away from our hotel during our NY trip. Love the atmosphere - small, but opens up a bit in the back. Definitely loud and busy, so thatís a downside. The beer selection made up for it. Love the beer "menu" that is provided by beer style. A huge chalkboard on the wall keeps you up to date as far as whatís on tap at the moment. Love it, have great beers and will go back.

We had the best time ever in this bar. Itís a shame we couldnít stay longer. We arrived really late at night, and the staff was very helpful in providing delicious pizzas. The selection of beers was massive, and the three beers we tested were sublime. The ambiance was very nice and relaxed.

Great spot. Long bar along the wall when you walk in. Seating in the back. Seating is not the most comfortable. Bar stools and tables on barrels for the most part. Some hightops though that have the half booth seating on on side with chairs on the other. But you are there for the beers. 40 beers on tap and a few casks. Can make your own flights (4 x 4 oz glasses). They also have a solid bottle selection which includes some vinatage brews. Food was good too.

A great atmosphere and simply the best selection of beers around. 40 taps and 4 casks is unbeatable, with new kegs tapped every day. The brewery events are also an amazing experience. The $7-8 for most beers is fair considering what you get, and the option to get a flight of four different 4oz samples (for $8-12) is always fun. Not to mention the delicious food. One of the best bars in the city without a doubt.
