Solid midtown choice. Itís a little narrow and definitely on the radar. Prices are a little on the high end, but the place delivers a solid lineup.

A beer lovers paradise. Bar is sort of against a tight corridor and a little cramped, but long enough that it doesnít pose a problem for ordering a beer. Upon sitting at the bar youíre handed a menu which has the days draft selection, IBU count and ratebeer.com rating. Beer selection is immense and changes weekly. Food is average pub food; overpriced but decent.

Went to this bar twice on a visit to my buddy Andrewís (Pwn3d) apartment. The place is relatively narrow, but does not feel cramped at all. Cool Irish motif, and an awesome looking set of taps behind the bar. Nice chalk-board wall covered with a colorful bottle list, organized by style. The decor is very wooden and rustic, yet still somehow modern and nice. We had the same waitress both nights, and she was amazingly friendly, helpful, nice, and, ultimately, patient with my friends and I. Wish I could remember her name! She has a true Irish braugh, too, which was awesome. Beer selection is unreal, both on tap and bottled. This is a must-stop for any true craft beer lover. With their rotating featured brewery-style menu, I wish I lived closer so I could go more often and try the super-stupid rare stuff they get frequently. Awesome bar.

Been here a number of times, but lately Iíve found myself leaving early and heading a few blocks North to The Ginger Man. Good selection of both draft and bottled beers, though the bottle menu seems to be perpetually outdated. Selection is particularly great when they host tap takeover events.
Love the big chalkboard near the entrance with the "If you like XX beer, then try YY craft beer" chart. More craft beer bars should do this.
Service is pretty average with some staff being extremely knowledgeable and others clueless. Our early-afternoon waiter yesterday seemed puzzled when we ordered one of the Cantillon bottles from the menu, then exclaimed "Oh yeah, the can-TYE-lenn!" ... We also ordered a Peeper Ale from Maine Beer Co, which sported a bottling date of June 2011. Plus it was served to us at damn near room temperature. If our server wasnít clueless, I would have politely informed him that they shouldnít be serving 8-month-old pale ales at a craft beer bar.
Does get crowded quickly, which makes the service even more lackluster. But with all of that said, RnH is a solid Midtown place overall.

One of the better beer venues in New York. Staff know their products. When we visited they had 16 diff pumpkin beers on tap for Halloween. Good selection of stone also. Shame there wasn't more cigar city available. Food was solid..

Sweet little place to go. Lucky for me, it was just a few blocks away from our hotel during our NY trip. Love the atmosphere - small, but opens up a bit in the back. Definitely loud and busy, so thatís a downside. The beer selection made up for it. Love the beer "menu" that is provided by beer style. A huge chalkboard on the wall keeps you up to date as far as whatís on tap at the moment. Love it, have great beers and will go back.

Very pleased with this place. Had a nice Irish feel- even the bar tender had an accent. Big chalkboard of the 50ish taps they had on, and a big "pin map" in the back of all the breweries from around the world that they have beers from. Nice cask bar in the back. Must try: beer flight of 4, they give you a menu so you can check off the ones you want. They offer a "traditional Irish breakfast" too- including blood sausage! Didnít have the guts to try it this time, but maybe on the next trip...after a few pints! ;-)
