Just giving this one a shout-out. A new bar (unfortunately for them, real close to the Ginger Man) in Midtown trying to get off its feet. LOTS of taps, and apparently installing more for a total around 40 or so. As of right now itís sort of a post-work place across from the Empire State builidng. Give it a shot and maybe sheíll flourish.

Probably my favorite place in New York. Quite centrally located in Midtown, right next to Empire State Building. Been here a couple of times, usually its loud and packed with people but my previous visit on a Sunday evening was nicely peaceful and relaxed. 40 constantly rotating taps with always something interesting on, flights available and a nice bottle selection. What more could you ask for? Well, itís a bit pricey, but thatís New York for you.

Stopped in for a few rounds on Black Friday around 5pm - found a table easily. Great service, big tap selection with some nice choices. Prices, I thought, were reasonable for Manhattan. Nice atmosphere. Limited menu items looked very good, though we didnít eat. Would definitely go back.

One of the better beer venues in New York. Staff know their products. When we visited they had 16 diff pumpkin beers on tap for Halloween. Good selection of stone also. Shame there wasn't more cigar city available. Food was solid..

Small, cramped, busy mostly with students place. Very noisy. Food is OK, not expensive for NYC. A lot of taps, but service is just so so. Not my type of place.

Nice cosy place, fairly busy, great selection on tap, service a bit of a miss.

Good place but very busy & loud in the evening. There was a Founders tap-takeover which took up half the 40 taps. Now donít get me wrong, I like Founders as much as the next man, but that is too much when you are hoping for a beer list with plenty of variety. Service was pretty good under the circumstances. Food looked very good, but didnít get a chance to try it. Both beers I had were $9, too pricey for a 12oz measure.

Nice and cosy place. Fairly quiet when I was in (late afternoon on a weekday) so might be louder later in the evenings, but I enjoyed that the volume wasnít as bad as in e.g Blind Tiger. Good selection of draft beer and a nice bottle menu. Managed to get the Bourbon County Barley Wine here. Service was good and prices perfectly alright even if they werenít on the cheap side.

Decent place, but oiur experience was far from world class. Ok selection, but. Ot realy so special. Happy Hour selections were few and stingy. Bartender could not tell me about the beer I wanted. Good enough, but very pricy.

Stopped in here while I was in town for the auto show since it was only a few blocks away. It was just before 5pm so it was getting packed pretty quickly. We got lucky and snagged the last few seats in the place. Atmosphere was pretty good overall. Lots of people enjoying themselves and the space itself was quite nice. Service was a touch slow but she was doing the best she could so not a huge deal for me. Quality was quite high, proper glasses and all that. Selection was awesome. They had just had a Firestone event so I was able to try some of the leftovers including Opal and Sucaba. As far as food, I got one each of the sliders and they were pretty good but I would probably get something else next time. Prices were high, but I was expecting that. Overall an awesome beer bar that I would definitely return to in the future.
