Adding this place as there is no other beer store rated for the area. I used GPS to visit 12 of 14 Chico liquor stores. Ray’s is the place in Chico for Butte Creek - there were seven different Butte bombers on my visit. Three I had not seen elsewhere . It’s not the place for many imports - what there were may be easily found elsewhere. However, Ray’s has the right attitude: ’We try to sell most microbrewery beers, especially those that are local,’ said Steve Palmer, owner of Ray’s Liquor. That’s mission impossible, but this is the stop in Chico. Liquor Bank at 915 Main also has a better than average selection (2 Feather River Bombers), but Ray’s should be the first stop.
