Decent selection of beer, some in singles along the back wall - some of which are reasonable and others which are way overpriced. Nice selection of Belgians and foreigns along the side wall and a fair amount of regional and national micros. Nothing that makes it a destination liquor store for me, but if Iím in the area I may stop in.

I have shopped here. MrFacto knows I like it for glasses. The beer selection is nice as is the staff. It is a cool place, but I woudl only visit if I couldnít make Discount. They have a few interesting beers.

Decent selection of beer. Lots of the locals a few good beers I donít see in many other places nice store w/ friendly staff.. they kept having breakfast stout when noone else did so that has to be worth something.
As time has gone they have continued to improve their beer selection.

Nice place and very close to where I live. Prices are a little more than Discount Liquor, but they occasionally have some treats that Discount doesnít. Overall a pretty nice selection though.

Rayís has a good selection and is between work and home, which works for me. The store has a nice layout and what looks to be a solid selection of booze, too. Prices are on the high-end for the area, but fall short of unreasonable. Service is usually there when you need it, and all of the staff seem friendly.

I visited Rayís at the suggestion of a friend who is a long-time Milwaukee resident. It is a well-organized store with an extensive wine and beer selection. The import selection here is much more interesting than the craft beer selection, although there are many varieties of both. Selection of singles is mostly confined to imports...it seemed to me that most of the US crafts were sold in multipacks.
When I first walked through the door, I noticed most of the floor space is devoted to wine, with all beer in coolers along two walls of the store. The store staff greeted me, but didnít bother me as I scoured through the imported single serves.
Unlike some others, this store is clean and well-organized, and in a way, is a reflection of the rather yuppie-schic Wauwatosa neighborhood which houses it (not that thereís anything wrong with that).
Overall, I thought the selection was good, but not great and the level of service seemed fine but not great. This is a nice place, but I feel that my mix of Milwaukee liquor stores satisfies my needs. When I want import selection, Discount; when I want US craft selection (stored in dark fridges), then Breeze-Thru; and when I want service, I drive up to Murrayís. While this is a perfectly serviceable store, it just didnít identify a superlative that would bring me back to this store.

Rating update. Now the closest liquor store to home, and I find that they get the job done really well. A fair amount of French and Belgian selections. They do carry all the local and greater midwest brews by the 6-pack and everythingís in a cooler. Prices were a little inflated, but for a point of convenience if youíre nearby, itís not that extreme. Theyíre always willing to help you land a beer if they can get it and hold it for you till you can get there.

Nice selection. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Note: my last visit I was ripped off - overchanged by over $10. Debating whether or not I will go back, which is too bad because I like the selection

Beer seems to be more expensive here than in other stores in Milwaukee. I picked up some Devil Dancer and Bellís Batch 7000. I called them and reserved some beer. No problems. Lots of European brews and Midwestern brews.
