A hard to resist shop I visited a fair number of times whilst living in Isleworth, mainly for the reason it stocks a simply fine collection of domestic and international ales and beers.

This is a great little shop, on a street corner in St Margarets, just over the bridge from Richmond. It has a good choice of bottles from microbreweries in various parts of the UK and elsewhere, all set out very neatly on the shelves and priced reasonably. Itís light and airy and a pleasant place to visit, made all the better when our good pal Duff is on duty. When we were there in July there was a barrel on the counter and free tastings. (Visited 10 July 2011).

The selection is impressive and the staff are keen to geek out on beer talk. Shame itís not in my neck of the woods otherwise Iíd pop in frequently.

Visited on Saturday lunchtime, 14/09/13. Smallish single roomed shop on the Richmond Road between Twickers (25 mins and Richmond 15 mins) times on foot. Decent selection of local London brewers, Kernel and Partizan had a few offerings, Wierd Beard well represented as were Rocky Head. National interest from Dark Star, Tiny Rebel and Buxton amongst others plus a solid enough choice from DK, DE, BE and the US. Guy serving was helpful and we chatted a little, he even went onto RB on his laptop so I could search a few things (as the reception on my smart phone was poor). Tasting area in the shop, nothing doing when I was there mind. They have a cask or two for carry out growlers etc, a Twickennham Fine Ales offering on my visit. Solid little shop with some well thought out choices. friendly and helpful staff - reccomended!

District line to Richmond. Bus to Cresswell Rd. Walk a couple blocks to 371. Bingo. Staff was super attentive and knowledgable. Very many choices. Probably over fifty I hadnít rated. Itís a very easy trip from London, if you have enough value on your Oyster card (I had to recharge on return). Itís a donít miss stop.

I really liked that store. Not a huge selection but just about everything I saw there I didnít see anywhere else. Focus is on obscure English micros only, no imported beers. You can feel that display is put together with love and passion. Very pleasant to shop at. Store employee (owner?) was extremely friendly. He knew his products and could adequately describe the taste of each beer in the display. The only problem is that he found everything good so it was hard for me to pick-up the best stuff. Itís almost 20 minutes walk from the Richmond station (far-end of London subway) but itís a nice walk. Recommended.

Great small beer shop located 15 minutes from Richmond tube station. They focus primarily on a well-picked British selection with some interesting Belgian, American and German options as well. At my last visit there was a great range of Kernel, Brewdog and Thornbridge (including Bracia!). The staff are always friendly and fairly knowledgable. They regularly host meet the brewery events and offer a loyalty card system, which is great for frequent customers.

Visited on 2 August 2009. Decent selection of beers in terms of quantity, with every one scoring highly on quality. British beers from the likes of Brew Dog, Oakleaf and Thornbridge, a decent choice of Andechs, craft ciders and some unusual US beers too. Well worth a visit.

Every neighbourhood should wish for one. Exclusively English micro beers, friendly staff that know their beers. Free samples (at least for me!) You can even smell and taste various types of hops and malt. Very convenient to combine with a few pubs and a stroll along the Thames.

Very nice little corner shop with a clear focus on English microbrew. Has lots and lots of obscure English micros, most of them very good. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the selection is really good. There isnít really that much more you could want, except possibly a bigger shop.
