It has the feel of a chain bar, even though it is a stand-alone, but it feels cozy and unpretentious like a neighborhood bar. They have around 10 beers on tap, but all are excellent local brews; I have no idea how many they have in bottles since I never saw a bottle list. Serving people are very efficient, helpful and friendly, and service is quick even when they are busy. They have several TVS tuned to sports, but no sound and no ambient music, so the only noise is conversation. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. If they have rotating taps of just North Carolina’s finest, this is definitely worthy of multiple visits if you live in Raleigh, or visit frequently.
