Sad to see that it is closed. Actually thought this was a pretty good little bar with lots of live music. Lines for brews could be a bit long but the brews were very good.

Looked pretty empty from the outside, but behind the restaurant part is the bar, including a small stage, where they regularly have live music. Quite dark atmosphere, doesnt look friendly, though its actually quite ok. Selection was ok, about 10 taps.

This was kind of a disappointing stop. Simple beer for simple palates. Having lived in New Orleans before, this was very sub par. Agree with Brau Dog, quit brewing and focus on the other great breweries right in their own backyard and sample them on tap.

4/14/06: Iím sorry, but I expected way more. This really is a place that wants to be an upscale restaurant, but still has like 12 beers brewing, few of which were any good. Put my restaurant adviser hat on and Iíd tell them to quit brewing and just have some of the better local brews on tap.

Had 2 beers, and both were subpar. Good locations off of the pedestrian mall. Wannabe artsy atmosphere with too little lighting.

You can go here over and over for months and never see a new beer. Thatís the only major disappointment. The beer is generally average with a few misses and hits (I can always enjoy the ESB). The atmosphere is cool in a New Orleans sorta way, with lots of attractive female waitstaff as well. Pleasant place to hang out. Yummy, albeit expensive, food.

Overall a decent place though not near as crowded as Mountain Sun. The selection of house beer was okay, the lighter brews were unimpressive but a nice IPA and some porters/stouts.

Visited here on an interview trip in Dec 2002. Had a few beers with ecrvich and aubrey. Nice place, good ambiance. Selection was decent. The food looked good but I had already eaten. Would definitely visit again.

Tries to be a night club, restaurant and sports bar all in one. Ends up just being a swilling place for college kids... well the front is still a restaurant but the back is a college town bar. Big screen TV and all... smelly hippies, but at least they smelled like good weed rather than BO. The bartender was actually really cool... even on a busy night he was into talking beer with me and letting me sample what they have. Beers werenít that bad at all, best one was the stout... they had about 8-10 taps when I visited... it was fun.

Donít know if this is actually related to the redfish in New Orleans, but I was disappointed. The food was OK, Beer selection average, We were there on a cold, rainy september day in 2003 and the windoww were all open & we got wet. Servers acted like we were wasting time.
