Reviewed from notes. This was not a bad place. Though some may think Redhook isnít one of the better beer companies, I donít mind their stuff. The place is exceptionally clean with a decent knowledgeable staff and one dollar sample glasses that you can taste all of their beers that they have on tap for that day. The restaurant area is well staffed and serviceable. Itís Redhook, so of course, itís going to be at a decent value. I will say that the food is superb and probably better than their beer.

Me and my step-dad had gone for the tour, which featured a sampling of their year-rounders at a tabletop near the mash tuns. The bar itself at the front room is inviting, and comfy, but they donít usually have very much to pick from. Sometimes theyíll tap a seasonal. Bartenders were either helpful or distractedly useless.

Pretty generic brewpub with a large open dining area and a small gift shop. Service was okay. Selection is pretty much all Redhook beers with the standard lineup available as a flight, but the main draw is the brewmaster specials and seasonals. Varied food menu and all the items we ordered were very good. Overall a decent place to visit and have a few pints.

I am a regular here. I really enjoy going here in the summer and sitting outside with a cold draft and a cigar. Yes I said cigar! I have been asked to stop smoking a cigar at other local places while sitting next to someone smoking a cigarette. The outdoor patio is pet friendly as well! Stop by and relax!

Have gone here a couple of times and itís never disappointed. Very good food, very good prices, good service, and a reasonably good selection of beer from the brewery across the street.

August 2011. Not far from I-95, this expansive campus near the former Pease AFB is an interesting spot for a fun restaurant and brewery tour. Friendly service and stalwart Redhook ales are draw enough. Worth a detour. Brewery #535.

Very casual and comfortable environment with options for indoor and outdoor dining. Excellent selection of well made pub foods. Beer selection is very nice and a few "here only" surprises. Enjoy a tour of the brewery and stop in the gift shop after your meal.

Located in the Pease International Tradeport, a former military base turned into a business-industrial complex, the Redhook Brewery is a large but unobtrusive building next to a hotel. Stepping inside you immediately see the gift shop with their bottled signature beers for sale. Growlers are also available. The bar curves along the edge with several two-seater tables and four-seater booths throughout the dining area. Thereís a fireplace lounge area. There are a dozen or so beers on tap with a mixture of signature brews and brewpub-only brews. The food is your typical pub fare and I had the pulled pork, which was served to me in under ten minutes. Friendly staff. Not a bad place to enjoy lunch or dinner.

I first went here with liveFREEorRye and I canít believe Iím just now rating it!! "most of the bartenders know everything about the beer they serve. Down to what hops are used to brew what beer, IBUís, ABV, where the style originated, etc. They food isnt anything amazing but decent pub food. The beers are cheap and you can take a tour of the brewery for 1$ and you get to try all their beers(excluding the limited releases) and get a souvenir 4oz tasting glass. See the largest beer fridge in NH"

I only went here because the Portsmouth Brewery didnít have night specials that interested me and I already tried all their beers on tap. My expectations were low. But what can I say? Despite my preconceived notions, I had a good time. All the standard brews were on tap, plus a few extras. I tried a Rye Not Rye, a Right Hook Red (which was pretty excellent) and a Ballard IIPA. The beers were a mix of pedestrian and surprisingly good. Foodwise, I had a Buffalo Chicken Pita that had pretty excellent. Even their homemade kettle potato chips were surprisingly good. Beers were $4-$4.50, pretty standard, food was reasonably priced. Iím not sure the waittress paid me close attention (and frustrated me at times), but she made up for it by giving me samples when I couldnít decide on what to try next (free of charge) and simply being cute (donít underestimate cute). All in all, the experience far exceeded my expectations.
