After dinner stop. The place was busy, but parking was available. Smallish in front, but a wraparound bar and a larger back room. Taplist was very solid and reasonably priced. Bottle list was extensive, but frankly not particularly exciting. Maybe I am just too jaded, but I thought the list at Gnarly Barley, while smaller, was better curated. Service was exceptional all evening long. A great beer hangout. Deserving of world class status.

Visited on our trip to Orlando after Christmas. It is located about 10 minutes North of downtown Orlando in a strip mall area. The ambiance was extremely laid back but not to the liking of everyone. Service was great, never had to wait, could get tastes if you wanted, and list was readily available and current. Over 30 plus taps with a lot of FL locals, one offs, and your standard go toís. The price was quite reasonable as you could get half and full pints. Tried one of their beers which was solid. Overall, a must visit in the Orlando area. We liked it much better than driving another 45 minutes out to Mermaid Juice for the selection, price and service.

Visited later evening on a Wednesday. Located in an older strip mall, and upon entering itís hard to believe the big open, tall ceilinged place is actually located in that strip mall. Well worn spot, though does give it quite a bit of character (divey in a fun sort of way). The layout is a big circular bar in the middle, with tables spread around, particularly in the back part of the bar. This is mostly a beer bar, though they also brew and had 2 of their own beers on when I visited (one of which was cask). In addition to house beers, there was one additional cask and 30 beers on draft. Limited and import beer seems to be the focus, and the list is indeed impressive. There were a number of beers offered that I had never heard of, and have less than 10 rates here on the site. Bottles and cans are exhibited / housed in the coolers in the middle of the bar, and there are hundreds of incredible beers. Service was friendly, and knowledgeable. Good crowd, certainly a place not to miss in Orlando.
88 = ★★★★ (best in area, a must for locals and visitors)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.

Large open space, dimly lit and quiet when I went on a Wednesday evening, with a hipster vibe. Their tap list was substantial with some good offerings, although in late October it was dominated by pumpkin beers which are not to my taste. Not as many local/regional beers as Iíd hoped, but my general sense is that the Florida craft scene is still developing. Excellent bottle list and knowledgeable bar staff who used proper glassware, rinsed well, to serve a couple of more exotic bottles.

Itís lost a bit of the hole in the wall gritty ambiance it had at the previous location. This new place is perfectly nice, but clean, well lit and spacious - and kind of boring with no food stand guy outside (though we were there late on a Thursday). Otherwise, itís the same: some of the most knowledgeable staff youíll find, a small but eclectic mix of good taps, a big albeit expensive vintage bottle list. Wish they focused more on Florida. There are so many up and comers in the state, youíd figure they would have more. Still great, but thereís a lot more competition these days. Also cool that theyíre brewing their own and the one they had on was a sour.

This is a solid place, but maybe I am somewhat jaded by these "Top 50" places. I cannot say I would put it in that list based on other places I have been. The beer selection is good and there are even some elusive Cantillon bottles available, but the house brewery only had one beer on and the the tap selection was rather run of the mill. I will put this place at or near the top of my Orlando stops, but I also did not visit all potential places. There was no food that I saw.

I preferred the two older locales - this one seems a bit sterile and trendy. But the selection and service canít be topped.

A little underwhelemd by this place, definitely not world class in my book. Ambiance is big open bar, lots of seating, hipsterish. Service is good, knowledgable, and attentive. Selection was pretty good, but nothing too crazy. Prices were good for the quality things they had. Overall would definitely go back, but dont really ge the hype.

I live about two blocks away and it has been my spot for great beer since its early days in an old apt in Winter Park. Staff is great, both personable and knowledgeable. Tons of great bottles and the draft list always has approachable stuff as well as more distinguished selections. The cream of the crop in central Florida and one of the best Iíve ever been to.

This place is amazing. As a beer lover you have to make the pilgrimage to this bar. I have been coming here ever since I legally could. This is where I spent my 21st birthday back at their old location on Bennett. I wish I lived in Orlando because I would be here every night. Unfortunately I cannot. Redlight Redlight has the best selection without a doubt in Florida. Between their rotating tap list, their extensive bottle selection, and their vintage bottles, you can come here and always have something new. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. They take their time to describe the beers available. Iím pretty sure many of them are cicerones. Everytime I am in Orlando, I make sure I stop by. If you are a tourist visiting Orlando, this place beats Disney World everyday of the year.
