The best bar in Orlando. That’s all that needs to be said. As if the owner, Redlight (Brent), doesn’t do an amazing job getting great beers, the rest of the RateBeer crowd in the place is always coming up with great things to taste. There’s no other bar I’d rather be in Orlando.

Quite simply the best beer bar in Orlando hands down. I love this place. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly and recommend great beers. Everyone who hangs out is also pretty chill and easy to talk to.

I have never left this place without looking forward to my next visit. Brent and all of the staff will make you feel as if you are their oldest friend, and probably even teach you a lil sumpin sumpin about the beer.

If you like beer this place is classic.

I remember 8 years ago meeting a laid back beer lover Brent at an incredible tasting featuring 54 rare beers from the entire northeast down to Florida. He had just opened His bar. He made an impression and fast forward to the present where that gut feeling has blossomed into an institution that is one of the crowning jewels in Florida’s rebirth into the revival of honest beer. I cannot say enough good things about the Passion that lives in this bar and those that work here. It’s Funky yet isn’t everything that consumes liquid bliss.

I guarantee you won’t hear about this place without someone saying a word that rhymes with gypster...nonetheless, the barkeeps are knowledgeable, the atmosphere is laid back, and the beer selection is unsurpassed. To top it all off, it’s incredibly affordable. I’ve only been to about three or four..."gypster" bars in the Orlando area, and none come close. If you enjoy craft beers at an unbeatable price, don’t even think about skipping this place.

I was told this place was a dive, and it was completely, except for not being able to smoke, I thought it would be exactly like Leon Pub back home. Probably 15 things on tap, all craft or high end imports, two cask engines, one of which was running J.W Lee’s Vintage Harvest. I don’t think I made it there for some of the special things, but I’ve heard good stories, a keeper for sure. EDIT: New Redlight Redlight is awesome, much larger and in a great area. Up to about 30 taps with all exceptional craft.
