The long walk across town was worth it: Schipperís bottles in the walk-in, a few other things not seen elsewhere, and a row of taps for growler fills which you are free to sample. These guys are doing it right.

A nice walk-in cooler with a vast selection. If you want to fill your growler or flagon they offer around 18 taps. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.

Grungy looking shop really. Impressive selection of stuff though. Good wine selection, solid whisky and bourbon selection and nice beer selection.
Now up to 20 taps for Riggers (growlers). Impressive range of NZ tapped stuff. They are a distributor so part why the impressive NZ stuff. Good selection of European stuff, more like the classics really, some US stuff Rogue, Green Flash, Bear Republic (legal) and Sierra Nevada (grey market). Good English selection and a lot of Hardyís. Counted 7 cases. Nice. Big cool room for bottled products.
Impressive service and very helpful. Was pointed to some venues to hit and some not to hit. UMMM the DB supported venues.
Worth a trip as within easy walking distance to everything in Wellington.

The best bottleshop we visited on our trip over there. Had a great selection of NZ brews (of course) and a surprisingly decent selection of UK beers including a shitload of Thomas Hardy ale. Safe to say we stocked right up on about 4 different years of TH. They also had some pretty hard to get seasonals of US stuff which is difficult to find in Australia let alone a small town like Wellington. Good prices especially with the conversion rate. Had some sweet taps going with a bunch of different NZ beers to chuck in growlers for take away which was pretty cool. Pretty decent place

One of the best selections in the lower end of the North Island. Close to the Basin Reserve and the Tunnel. Few of the floor or counter workers in New Zealand actually know anything about what they are selling but the folks at Regional are usually friendly enough. They have maybe 8 or 10 taps for self-fill recyclable bottles which are fairly good prices. Usually has parking, Since most alcoholic beverages in New Zealand are over priced (Epic Mayhem and Armageddon sell in Missouri for less than they do in Wellington!) it is not really possible to give any pub or store in NZ a good price rating given that their beers sell for less overseas.

Probably best range in NZ. Excellent for NZ craft beer and probably best retail store for overseas craft beer. Donít use their online ordering, unreliable and their online support is non-existent; actually thatís not quite true their online support made things worse so non-existent would have been an improvement.

Many Craft beer available local to New Zealand. Also many exports that I had only read about I was able to try for the first time. Coming from Canada I was happy to see besides Labatt Blue available there was also Blanche de Chambly from Unibroue.
Canít go wrong when they have a mosiac of Michael Jackson created in burnt toast!

Best beer stop in th country so far. Pretty much every craft brewer has a product or two (or ten!) on offer here. I found 3 breweries that I hadnít come across in bottles yet, and I found a few hard-to-get gems as well (Three Boys Wild Plum, Twisted Hop Enigma, Epic Mayhem). Some quality belgian ales as well. Lots of nice glassware. The staff who helped me really knew their stuff and bent over backward to help me out. If you have the time, this place is well worth seeking out.

A great beerstore with a decent range of NZ micros as well as plenty of internationals. There is 11 different taps available to come and fill up your PETís. A great setup going here, and the guys were more than happy to let me sample a few of the brews. Sweet as!
