Solid; non-touristy place not too far from center. Good Pilsner tankova; have a hosue beer I did not try. Typical "Czech" atmosphere

Great pub with their own beer. Food and service was great too. I recommend this place!

I really like u balbinu. It is central but not with the rip-off attitude typical of too many establishments in the same area. Actually the staff is always very friendly, in a quick-but-amicable sort of way. I never had dodgy experiences there, not only becuase I speak czech, I saw them always ok with tourists too. The tmave now is from Kozel and not anymore from Richter unfortunately, I go there mostly for the Otakar 11 which I like very much. They also unusually have Paulaner on tap. Good czech food and nice ambiance created by the eclectic patron.

Pretty modern place in the center. Close to Pinkasu, Novometsky Pivovar, U Fleku, etc. Large selection of Belgium beers and one house beer. An alias of Bulovky Richter Tmavy. Tank Urquell of course! Rerate March 12. The house beer is now brewed by Krusovice. Happended to be here on a busy wedensday afternoon. Busy and very rude service.

Honestly, we didn’t stay here long, ut decided it should be on Ratebeer. We had a pint of the excellent Richter Tmave, sold here as Balbinova Tmave, and had a quick look in the beer menu. It’s a beautiful place, like one of the nicer English saloon pubs. The Tmave is a fantastic beer, and they also have a good Belgian selection and some ridiculously over priced rarities.
