42 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 5/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 2/10 OVERALL 7/20 Christian (206) Odense, Denmark | August 27, 2012 Cosy enough, but very tourist minded. Prices are absurd, and definitely for tourists, about the same as in the airport. Come here for the one tick, if you must... | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 11/20 pivnizub (426) Bochum, Porúří, Germany | August 14, 2012 Can’t validate neither Stefan’s nor Mads’ experiences: average place in the touristy heart of Prague; broad selection, but mainly the usual suspects; not expensive - but maybe only when You speak czech…? The house-beer is really good… So: All in all good for a stop. | 30 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 4/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 2/10 OVERALL 6/20 Dedollewaitor (279) Odense, Denmark | August 9, 2012| Updated August 15, 2012 AVOID!. MEGA tourist trap. Beers were 3 times the price compared to rest of Prague. We paid 140 Koronas for 2 small beers. Arrogant service and on top of that the beers were in bad condition. Uneticky is everywhere . . get it somewhere else. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 Quack-Duck (166) Down South, Germany | April 8, 2012 restaurant on Prague’s Wencelas Square, just next to Marks & Spencer. Go down the stairs and you’re in a nicely decorated restaurant with chunky furniture. Menu looks good though I didn’t try the food. They always have 11 beers on tap, mainly from small regional breweries, e.g. Unetice, Permon, Vysoky Chlumec... They also have their own house beer available only here: Melantrich brewed by Permon in Sokolov. Staff were very friendly and I didn’t have to wait long to be served the next pint. Very good value for money, 0.3l of good beer for around 20 crowns. Highly recommended - good location for tourists, yet authentic and welcoming. |
