stopped by a few weeks after opening. came in on a saturday morning/afternoon just after their 11am open. place was packed by noon! tried only one beer, on cask and on tap (wasnt aware of the cask for the first round - should have been recommended by the bartender, the sole strike against them). split the charcuterie plate with my dad, it was pretty decent as those go (ive sampled them at many chicago and abroad eateries). service was super friendly despite being mobbed and food (as simple as ours was) was swift. no complaints. the fact that they are busy or crowded should not be held against the management or owners. lovely room that clearly alot of money went into.

Stopped by here at 3PM on a Thursday. Easy parking right in front of the brewpub, but itís $2 an hour. Worth the convenience for downtown Chicago, I guess. Walk inside, the place is beautiful. Really classy, but not intimidating. Itís welcoming. Cool chill indie music plays on the stereo. Walls are decorated with cut up barrels and beautifully-lit wood. Nice 0 shaped bar. About 15 taps, like 8 I hadnít had before. 5oz samples offered for $2 a 5oz, big beers go for $4 a 5oz (not very explicitly noted).. Smaller tasters offered as well. Pretty reasonable. Food looked good, but was out of my budget (why canít any restaruant give me an 800 calorie meal for $6? Itís always a days worth of food for $13, no thanks). Bartenders were reasonably nice but curt, and it often took a little bit to get some help. They were reasonably busy, but not slammed. Cool place overall. Worth the visit.

Really liked this place. Was kicking the night we visited. Great selection of their own beers plus loads of guest stuff in bottles. Very efficient service.the place itself is big and space, with a beautiful rounded wooden bar, with a glass window in the corner which gives views to the brewery. Excellent place. Oh and the food is amazing!

This is a cool spot. We visited on a Wednesday around dinner time. They were releasing a new beer, which is always fun. My pork belly and egg sandwich was very tasty, and the beer selection was excellent, with 16 house beers available on tap. If I lived anywhere near by Iíd be a regular. Great place. Almost everything on tap was available as a 5 oz sampler for $2 too for any tickers out there!

A nice place inside, pretty large but still quite busy. A little loud overall, but oh well. Managed to get a seat at the bar. Very good service, even with being busy & all. Nice tap-list, around 15 or 16 beers on tap with even more in bottles, including beers from other breweries & whatnot. Surprisingly, though, they didnít have a single porter or stout on tap :( Did not order food, but the guy next to me got mussels & they smelled amazing. It looks like half restaurant, half bar, so Iím sure the food menu is extensive, even though I didnít check it out. Some tasty beers; of what I tried, Citra-Hero & Filibister were winners. Priced fairly, & itís nice that you can get 5 oz samples of any beer on the menu, too. Definitely glad to have stopped here.

After a day full of travel delays, I was incredibly glad to finally make it here (where I was supposed to be about 4 hours prior to when I actually arrived). I met TheAlum here and I of course tried all the beers I hadnít had before (just a couple of the bottled/canned offerings).
On the whole, the place is nice. Nice wooden bar with seating on all sides of the taps, plenty of bar seating and tables around as well. Service was pretty good, even though it was crowded.
The beer quality was good. A couple winners (liked the Dos Osos and Schwarzbier a lot), but a few duds as well. And they have a lot of beers, something like 15 or 16 house taps. Good bottle list as well.
Definitely worth a stop, particularly since itís just a minute or two walk from the train.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after DLD 2014. The place was crowded at 11:00am, but we were lucky enough to find three seats at the bar. The bartender took care of us right away. We just ordered a flight of all their beers. There were 15 taps and all were real good. We did not eat, but the food going by looked pretty tasty. This was definitely worth the stop. Will be back again.

Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon. Street parking only, metered, but was still able to park just across the street a few buildings down. The place was packed, but there was still one empty bar seat open. Within just a short time of sitting down, a bartender was asking me what I would like to drink. Shortly thereafter I had a sampler in front of me. The bar is located in the middle of the establishment and is a big rectangle. Lots of tables and booths are available around the perimeter. They had lots of taps with a wide variety of styles. They only had their beer on tap, but had a pretty wide selection of bottles. I didnít order any food, but a couple people close to me did and it all looked pretty good. Really good experience overall.

Stopped in on a late Sunday morning after DLD and found it packed. We managed to find 3 seats at the bar. I had been there a couple of times before and had nice meals. but the beer here is exceptional. Just a strong lineup. We had a bitter on cask that was as pleasant as could be. A nice list of outside taps, too. Revolution is a definite "Must" when in town.

If you wanna sample of what Rev Brew is releasing and/or playing around with, this is where youíd go. First off, these guys are pretty darn good when it comes to brewing beer; add to that a gastropub-style menu and this place is definitely worth stopping by - if you live in Chicago, Iíd say itís at least a once a month stop. On weekends, and when there is a popular release, this place can get crowded quickly but itís well laid out - it just has the feel of a neighborhood bar, but on a grander, polished scale.

We stopped in on Black Friday @ about 8:00 pm. Yeah it was stupid busy. I had a chat with a local while waiting for our beer and she said this place gets busy nearly every night of the week. I didnít get a taster flight simply because it was standing room only. The Eugene porter and Bottoms Up Wit both where very well made.
Iím starting to sound like a broken record with my Chicago places reviews because yet again. ďI would return if Iím ever back in this city.Ē I feel like I left a lot unturned at this establishment. I have no idea how the food is and only sampled two brews. If you are visiting give yourself enough time to check this place out thoroughly.
