Crowded warehouse bar. Excellent beer selection, above average food.

Visited this place July 2012-A fairly large dimly lit old-style bar with at least 40 taps and hundreds of bottles. prices were ok however, they have some rare beers, such as New Glarus Belgian Red-how do they have this beer? how did they get it? nonetheless, it was awesome that they have it. prices were ok not too bad considering its DC. I liked this place!

Several visits over multiple years. A must-stop for the beer drinker visiting DC. Always a good selection, prices are a little high but not overly so, and they do let you create your own sampler, which is a big win in my book. Cool local sports memorabilia there, and the locals love to hang out there during Capitals games. When I’m in DC, I always stop there. Good beer, good pub food.

Large bar conveniently located near the Chinatown metro. Big open space with lots of table seating and ample space at the bar. Also has a large patio. Very popular for happy hour and drinking spot for people headed to the Verizon Center for a sporting event. Bartenders are attentive and wait staff is generlly good. Beer selection is decent - a large number of the tap lines are dedicated to swill, but at least half are a mix of local craft and other stuff: Bell’s, Founders, Southern Tier, etc. Don’t expect to find anything too rare or crazy here. Food is pretty good but can be variable, especially if they’re busy. Prices on the sessionable beers hover around $6, but the high abv stuff and imports tends to run with a premium. Overall, a fun place to drink after work but I wouldn’t make a night out of it.

A huge selection with enough to keep almost any beer nerd happy. space with lots of seating which is good but its not much to look at other than the beer signs everywhere. Still space and lack of crowds is important. The waitress kept our glasses full! Prices were fair. On space and beer I’d be very likely to go again.

Sports bar with pretty decent tap/bottle list. Nothing crazy rare, but plenty regional brews I hadn’t tried. There was busy pregame Caps crowd in when I went. Service was good and food was typical pub fare. Had a few of the locals - DC Brau and Capitol City.

Been here many times. Large place, some sports on tv, usually decently crowded especially when Caps/Wiz are playing. Good location when it’s cold, not far from one entrance to Gallery Place Metro. Food is bar food but decent.

Going to ND MD game. Parked North of the city, htook a Metro to gallery Place and walked two blocks. The brickskeller new and improved. Packed befor capitols game but the beer, service and food were all great. No wait despite the three deep bar. Very nice stop.
