The fun thing about beer stores in Madison is that there isn’t a one-stop shop. For example, Riley’s has beers that I couldn’t find at Woodman’s or Steve’s. Farily well stored. Staff is basically college folks.

Good beer selection... nice singles selection (as commented before). Highly recommended as a day trip for Central Waters singles, other singles, and then you can hit Great Dane afterwards :)

Finally hit this place the other day and was pleasantly surprised. A nice selection of singles, and the prices are reasonable for downtown. Only place that I’ve seen Central Waters singles, and was suprised to see DFH singles as well. Oh, and they have a small selection of sake too.

Great selection of WI micros, a lesser selection of imports and domestic micros. I think their biggest plus is their selection of singles - basically all WI micros they have are available in singles.

Good place. Medium, well-chosen selection. Got DFH Festina Lente here, Central Waters Imperial, etc. Only place I saw the Lakefront sampler when I was in town last, but it was pricey and alas looked past date. Couldn't get anyone who knew anything about it either. Still, worth a stop; all of Madison's little shops seem to carry different things. More fun that way, if more time-consuming.

This has to be one of if not the best store in Madison, certainly on campus. They have 4 wall coolers filled with by-the-bottle sales. 10% off your custom 6-pack. They have all the Wisconsin brews, from Alder Brau and Capital, to Sprecher, Gray's and New Glarus. They usually have a good seasonal selection and I've found holiday beers well into April.
