Got here at a pretty busy time, 5pm on a Friday. There’s 30 people in here and the seating options might handle 20. So it isn’t cramped but there’s no place to go and relax and enjoy their offerings. There are a few barrels used as tables and the bar area for seating. Overall a pretty small space. The staff was friendly, funny and efficient. I see a 15 to 20BBL brew house off to the left along with the fermenter farm and bright tanks that are basically in the tasting area space (or the tasting area space is in the brew house area). On the opposite wall is a floor to ceiling vintage beer can display with lots and lots of interesting looking cans. There’s a nice atmosphere here, patrons are friendly and I love the tiny tulip shaped taster glasses. I tried two hoppy beer offerings and they were stellar. Wow! I need to come back.

Really chill warehouse brewery tasting room. About 20 taps of the house beer, most of them quite good and no real misses. Samplers available in 5 oz snifters. Of the handful of breweries I went to in the San Marcos/Vista area, this one was my favorite.

Excuse my laziness, but what you need to know is that this is IPA paradise, and I’m all in.

Another stop in my quest to visit every brewery in San Diego County. This is in the "golden triangle" of SM/Vista. It’s a feat to visit more than 3-4 of these places in Vista in one day. Rip Current is poised to move into the upper ranks of the San Diego breweries. Super IPA’s? Check. Great porters and stouts? Check. Massive wall of a beer collection? Check. Skip many of the lower tier San Marcos/Vista breweries, and spend the time here.

Close to Churchill’s, definitely worth stopping by. Insane amount of beer on tap for a tasting room: 19 taps at least. All available in mini snifter tasters. Open space with more seating needed probably. Decently crowded, fun vibe. TV on with sports showing. Friendly staff. Will be back.
Pro Tip: they have beers on tap not listed on the chalkboard.

Visited January 19, 2013 on a trip to SD to pick up some AleSmith bottles.
There has been some talk about these guys and their IPAs so it was a necessary stop, mostly from the beer bros that pretend they’re friends with the brewers because they knew them on BA. Anyway, I was excited to try some of the hoppy offerings. I’ll give them this: they’re off to a good start, however some of the recipes need work. It’s probably just them getting used to the equipment and hopefully next time I stop in they’ll be killing it.
The set up is cool. Decoration, the barrels used for tables, everything. The downside is the amount of space. I can see them outgrowing this space soon. Same goes for the parking situation. I’ll have to stop back in soon for a flight.

Nice stop, not too far from Lost Abbey, Stone, Iron Fist, etc. Industrial parking lot brewery run by some fine people. Small and relaxed tastingroom with a nice ambience. A cool collection of vintage cans on the wall. Largish collection of house beers: most of the ones I tried were pretty solid. A worthy stop.

Cozy set-up with an L-shaped bar, barrels as tables, and a wall covered with old beer cans. Fairly busy on an early Saturday afternoon but staff was attentive. A lot of beer on tap across a range of styles with full pours or tasters available. Prices seem average. Good location convenient to other beer stops and freeway close. This brewery seems to hold a lot of potential.

Cool tasting room with a glass wall full of vintage beer cans on one side and glass open to the outside the rest of the way. Small bar area with 7 beers on tap, brewing system in the back. A handful of tables and barrel "tables" around the rest of the space. Friendly service and great explanations of the beers by the staff. Beers were pretty solid all around. Best of luck to Paul and Chris with their brewery!
