Visited on October 12, 2012. Sampled four beers. Good service. Beers were OK to good for three of them the last was not for me at all and couldn’t finish it. Farily easy walk from Falling Rock where we started out.

Visited oh a Friday afternoon. Business was good. Verly small taproom with around 8 beers on tap. Service was fine, prices were fair, and the selection was decent. Main complaint was the size of the taproom, just too small. Hope they figure out a way to expand the area.

(Another update - in the last year or so, these guys have really become great at their craft - they are still a little inconsistent, but they are one of the better breweries in Denver - the taproom itself is still very small and gets cramped easily, especially on weekends - avoid it during Rockies games - tap selection is often just the standards that are available bottled and canned all over town, so don’t walk in on a random day and expect to find a bunch of their one-offs or rarities on tap - they do randomly put them on tap, but often in such small quantities that they are gone in less than 24 hours, so check their Facebook page, as they often announce "hey, we just tapped Cabernet J Marie") [Have returned a few times since opening - their products are now a bit more consistent and the vibe is relaxed compared to some other breweries downtown - I like them a bit more each time I go] Went to the grand opening today - very small tasting room with a slightly industrial feel - kind of fits the neighborhood - given the space of the brewery itself, I wondered why the tasting room wasn’t larger - servers were a bit out of sorts, but friendly and I am sure they’ll get the hang of it - they served the beer in plastic cups, which was an immediate strike for me - maybe because of how busy they were for the opening, they thought they might not be able to clean the glass fast enough? - either way, it was a turn off - beers were so-so, with a fairly limited selection - several Belgian styles, though, which was nice - standard prices for this part of town - I was not terribly impressed, but I will be back after they’ve settled in.

Nice smaller taproom. Brewhouse visible from taproom. Good variety of beer on tap - but not a lot. Some bottle sales of special releases. Tasters available. Solid beers. Will be back.

Stopped in Thursday afternoon befote gabf. Aboit eight beers on tap. Very small place with a small patio. They were busy but staff was friendly enough. Beers were ok but nothing particularly experimental or unusual.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Tiny, cramped tasting room. About as much indoor seating as outdoor (which is to say limited). Small selection of 6 beers on draft, 3 of which were variations of the same (and none of those 3 were good). Friendly staff. Prices are fair I guess, though I left most of the glasses in my flight half full. Nice location.

(Visited 06/2014): River North Brewery is located on Blake Street in downtown Denver, just a couple blocks from Coors Field. Street and lot parking is nearby.
The interior opens to a small tasting room, with a short bar and a couple tables. The brewery is through a door in the back and there are windows behind the bar that offer a look at at. Uniform gray walls with hanging lights. Also behind the bar is a board listing the beers available on tap.
The tap room has 8 beers on tap, and they are available in a sampler served on a cool tray made out of a barrel stave. On my visit the beers included Hello Darkness Black IPA, Wit, J. Marie Saison, IPA, IIPA, and a few barrel aged beers. The beers are all decent, with a couple standouts, although nothing earth shattering. There is also a small fridge with a few bottled selections.
Service on a late afternoon right after a ballgame was good. The bartenders were all engaging and knew the beers.
River North does not serve food.
Overall this is a cool little spot to visit in an already target rich environment. While not necessarily a must-visit, its proximity to a lot of other nearby beer spots merits working it in, and I would definitely stop in on a future trip to see what was new.

A nice little tasting room downtown. Service was very good and selection was a bunch of their own beers. Beers were all Belgian styles and just OK. Nice stop if you in town, but you aren’t; missing anything,

pretty tiny tasting room. a small l-shaped (sorta) bar and a few tables around the perimeter. lucky there’s some seating outside as well. they had about 8 beers on tap, with a lot of Belgian style/influenced beers. for the most part they are just okay without any of them really being terrible but none being very good either. the service here was helpful and friendly and the prices on the flights were pretty good, too.

A cool little spot, stopped in during GABF week. Nice ambiance and excellent service. They had a Belgian DIPA and a few barrel aged quads that were all really good. We were given a few freebies and a discount. I was impressed.
