72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 14/20 marcus (146) Sacramento, California | October 4, 2011 This place has existed for almost 3 months and I finally got around to visiting. There is a large room with 2 bars, a bunch of tables and wide screen TVs. There are around 40 taps of good, but fairly available beers although I did find a couple to rate. The place was almost empty on a Monday, so we had a nice conversation with a friendly barkeep who knew something about craft brews. It’s a place worth trying if you are in Sacramento. |
50 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 3/10 OVERALL 10/20 DYCSoccer17 (275) Woodland, California | July 26, 2011 I visited over the weekend. This place is less than 10 days old. They have 40+ taps, with very few mind-blowing taps at this point. Prices are bizarre...$6.25 for Racer 5 and $4.75 for Old Foghorn. Very large cavernous place with 4 taps on the bar at the left and 40 on a wall at the back left. I imagine they have food here, but I did not eat. Tons of employees, but I didn’t get a good vibe from them. Bathrooms are putrid. Very small patio out front with about 5 tables. Focused mostly on American brews. Anderson Valley, Mammoth, Green Flash, Bear Republic, Rubicon, Speakeasy, North Coast, Port/LA, Lagunitas, Allagash, Napa Smith, Rodenbach, Sudwerk, Flying Dog, Deschutes, Anchor, Lost Coast, Mendocino, Moylans, Pyramid, and some common ciders. |
