76 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 ryanscourt (10) Pennsylvania | April 22, 2013 Nice place to go especially before ball games or concert. Pretty good beer. Nice big open place with beer made from the brewery and selection of others. Big menu, mostly bar food. Nice sports bar type atmosphere. | 48 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 Beerman6686 (92) Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | May 17, 2012 located in the northshore by both stadiums and ae. ok ambiance. typical sports bar. Service, especially hosts/hosdtesses have no legitimate guess how long waits will be and dont even suggest to have a drink at the bar, they dont care if you leave. food is decent and a decent price. value is low because beers are a bit expensive and a lot of times it seems the taps are dirty or the right beer isnt listed. overall i could take it or leave it. Worth going to before a game as nothing better is aroudn it. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 Nate (258) Indiana, Pennsylvania | October 25, 2010 Came here on a Pitt game day. Big college and alumni crowd. Able to get a table (it was only 10:30 or so) and parked myself down for about 3.5 hours to grade exams, eat lunch, and chill for a while. Same menu as other Rivertowne locales, though the beer list here has just a few Rivertowne/Full Pint offerings. Nice selection of craft and imported beers ranging in style from seasonals to standards. Great service. Easy walk to downtown, Heinz Field, PNC Park, and the casino. | 72 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 15/20 Brewman63 (39) Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania | September 7, 2010 Stopped in a couple times for a few beers during/after a Pirates game (you need a lot of beer to watch the Pirates). Ambiance is nice; each time I was there it was crowded without being packed. Beer selection is good - a lot of micros with a few of their own brews. Their beers are good without being exceptional. Food is pretty good too (mussels are worth getting). Nice to see a local brewpub in the middle of the North Shore. Hope it does well. | 74 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 9/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 16/20 JohnnyJ (96) San Diego, California | June 25, 2010 In the Del Monte Building, walking distance of my hotel. The beer selection and service were fine, but not excellent. Pricing was actually good, and the food was excellent. The pizza I had was large and cheaply priced. I ended up going twice for dinner here. I recommend visiting for the food, but not so much the beer. |
