Ambience gets a low rating here since the bar is filled with smoke and is hot. Selection is not very good.
If you order an Irish car bomb it comes in a plastic cup and you donít even get the satisfaction of dropping the shot. This place is right next to a strip club so you get the usual shady crowd. If yellow water is your kind of beer and you like to feel like all eyes are on you pushing you out the door and lung cancer is something youíve been thinking about getting check this place out. It is definitely not for the beer lover.

This place is an exception to the kinds of places that are located in the tourist zone, which are places that typically caters to the volume over quality crowd.
Thatís not to say that Robbieís doesnít have domestic specials during the week, but this is where youíll see someone drinking a schooner of Franziskaner, someone having an old scotch, and some folks with $2 PBRs. The crowd can be different at times but almost always everyone is in a good mood and having fun.
Iíve yet to have anything to eat here, so I canít really rate that now.
The staff is friendly and knows their beers and the regular customers.
I think a new airhandling system was recently installed, the last time I was there it seemed better, but I still avoid latenight vists because thatís when I have encountered smoke that bothered me. Happy Hour on the other hand is my favorite time to go.

Great respect for Robbie and Tonya. Staff is always friendly and Robbie is a connoisseur and a good bar owner (always behind the bar). The place is usually packed, which is fun, but it very small, so the smoke is brutal sometimes. Robbie used to be known for live music, so its a shame the city wont let him continue that great tradition.

Not one of 7 taps served craft, the manager claiming blue moon was. This is mass UK/Irish. Other than that, it is a fun place catering to the younger crowd whom are up, usually for a short while, in any of the many hotels to catch surf and beach. It is open 3 pm to 3 am. There is a lot of socializing and with me advocating for some craft, and all those who follow, maybe they will catch on. Until then there is nowhere to find craft in this dessert, with only the odd Full Sail amber to be found in bottles down the road at ABC.

Visited during Biketoberfest. Easy to locate on Seabreeze with good parking all around. Wooden bar with brick interior. 17 taps and two glass front beer coolers gave good selection and the ability to know what was there. Robbie was behind the bar and was very freindly and knowledgable of beers and food service. Food is pub food selection of 4 sandwichs, two hot dogs and a nacho plate. Internet freindly with a internet connect jukebox. Very good selection and freindly people. Very good alternative to vacation location chains.
