Nice place with some decent food (the buffalo wings were a tad on the hot side, nice!). The stand-by beers are nothing special and the seasonals seem to be the typical blend: some awesome, some horrid, most okay. Iíd probably call ahead to make sure thereís something new and interesting, otherwise itís probably not worth the trip.

Typical downtown big city brewpub geared towards tourists busy spending their money on the "Magnificent Mile" - kind of shitty warehouse ambience - you need to take a service elevator to get to the damn bathrooms - lots of large televisions - ambivalent staff most liken used to the "do you have any Bud Light" bullshit touristy questions (which I continually saw them dealing with during my time at the bar) - prices were okay for the location - there is a flight of six for six bucks, which is a very good deal, but the six beers are set (no choosing) - eight house beer (mostly standard brewpub styles), plus about eight guest taps, some local (Half Acre, Goose Island) some macro (Miller Lite) - typical brewpub food, with unsurprising prices given the location (about 20-25 percent more expensive than youíd expect outside of the downtown area) - I only came here because itís my first night in town and it isnít far from my hotel - meh.

This has to be the 3rd, 4th, maybe 5th Rock Bottom I have visited? I can hardly remember. Anyway, this is one definitely has more beers than what we had on the East Coast. I mean decent beer here. Skip the regular line-up and go for the specialties. Also, go to the restaurant side, they have a listing for the barrel and cask beers. Bartender on the bar side didnít even know what was on cask. Touristy for sure. I would still revisit.

Itís looks like a chain sports bar and acts like a chain sports bar that makes its own beer. The beers are serviceable, but have a general in house character of being quite sweet (of the 4 tried). Very friendly staff. Other than whatís on tap (8) and the guest selections (nothing special) there wasnít much to try on this day. If youíre area, fine. But, donít make a special trip

Quite regular chain brewpub. 8 Rock Bottom beers on tap. 2 local ones. Service was OK and food decent. Not too expensive.

Visited on my first trip to Chicago. If I had known about the beer map I would have hit about a dozen other bars as well but this was just a quick trip down town on the way to Buddy Guyís Legends.

Service is friendly at the bar. The bartender was more than happy to do a sampler of the dozen house beers. This was before the corportization of the beer list but even still there were several beer names that I recognized. Iím not sure if they had several recipes that they shared or if that is due to the fact that there are so many beers made by so many different Rock Bottoms that some names overlap. The beers were all a little sweet for my liking but were unoffensive otherwise.

This is most definitely a stop made by tourists so expect it to be full. I didnít try any of the food so I canít comment on that. Prices on beer were reasonable.

Not a destination brewpub, as their main ones are pretty lacklustre, but they also do some speciality brews which are a lot better. Kind of boring modern sports bar atmosphere. Feels suburban though itís in the middle of the city. Not bad.

Pub and restaurant seating options, for a casual or formal feel. Their beer is good, and the food is great. all pretty decently priced. Service was pretty good, but could be better. All-in-all, solid place, for a chain.

Probably one of the best RB in the country. Always a barrel-aged beer on tap and their IPA is a solid one. Service was great, ambiance is fine, nothing special, but nothing negative. Value is good for downtown Chicago, $5.50 for a nonic of the house beers, $7 or $8 for the BA beers. Solid place and right of the Red Line, couldnít be more convenient.
