Beer wasnít very good. Server was a bit of a jerk. Seven beers were tapped at the time of my visit. Nothing to go out of your way for.

The beer is great. Donít go for the food, it is slightly better than average....edible, but the beer was great. Brought home 2 growlers of the Fire Chief Ale. Itís a brilliant red with no bite. Beautiful!

Nice place to watch a game and/or take the family. Good food and beer. Close to a movie theater so expect a long wait on weekend evenings.

Visited October 2010.
Happened to be there during trivia night. Kind of let down by the fact that their house malt liquor had just run out before I got there. Got a burger and it was pretty good, as their food usually is. Beers werenít bad either. For a Rock Bottom location itís alright. Might return for the malt liquor.

A great stop for lunch and a beer. Food is great, service is solid, and beer selection is above average.

(Visited 11/2010): This Rock Bottom location is in the Warrenville/Naperville area on W. Diehl Rd, right off I-88. There is ample parking available.
The inside is pretty spacious, with the bar area on the left side which offers a view to the brewing equipment. The rest of the brewpub is devoted to table seating. A lot of the decor features their house ales.
As with other Rock Bottom locations, this one has their own spin on styles that mimics other sites. They have around 8 beers on draught, all of which are available in a sampler. They range from KŲlsch, APA, IPA, Wit to Coffee Porter Dubbel and Stout. The beers are decent for the most part with none being particular standouts.
Service at the bar on a relatively busy weekday evening was pretty good. The bartender was knowledgeable about their beers and friendly.
We did not have any food on this visit.
You pretty much know what you are going to get at Rock Bottom which is a positive and a negative and this one is no different. Worth a visit in the area but not somewhere I would go out of my way to hit.

As with all Rock Bottoms Iíve been to, the food is solid. Since I joined the mug club here. the perks have gone way down. THAT IS NOT A PROBLEM CAUSED BY THEM, BUT ORIGINATES AT THE CORPORATE LEVEL. The brewer has changed twice since then and due to corporate rules on mug club events its harder to get to know Davin. Heís beer is great but I miss Lumpy Dog which was always my "go-to" beer when the seasonals were a style that I didnít care for. I vastly prefer the ambiance and service here to that of Yorktown.

Probably my least favorite incarnation of Rock Bottom. It feels very suburban and the beer isnít up to par with the others (at least it wasnít, though now Davin is out there). That being said, they do have about a dozen different options and Iíll keep on trying them as I get a chance.

I have been to this location over 10 times in the past few years. Over the years several brewers have come and gone. Although this is a chain, the head brewer still has a large influence on the beers.
The standard beers at RB-W are pretty good. I enjoy a Lumpy Dog occasionally. The recipes for the Terminal stout and the Warrenville wheat change all the time. So while the names stay the same, you never know what you are going to get. I have had some really good ones over the years and some not so good ones.
The reason that I can keep coming back is the seasonal beers. Lately they have not been as exciting or experimental as they were in the past, but I still always find something I like.
As is usual for chains, the beer is served very cold, but at least the glass is not chilled. I am always forced to wait for my beer to warm up before I can truly enjoy it.
The atmosphere at RB-W is pretty good for a chain brewpub. There is lots of wood and wide open spaces. It can be a little cold in this place, even in the summer. There are the requisite TVís around the main bar, but the rest of the place does not have them. This is a good thing in my opinion. I have spent time at the main bar, the tables by the bar, the booths and the loft bar. I like the loft a lot, but I wish it were open more often. I guess the servers donít want to deal with the stairs if they donít have to.
Service is hit or miss at this location. But I think that is because I have the experience of many visits over several years. I have had servers that were fantastic and some that were plain rude. I have not met many servers that know anything about the beer. I generally take a look at the big chalkboard menu that is very detailed in order to make my choices. I wish they would put detailed menus on the tables.
The food at Rock Bottom is fair, but nothing to rave about. It is a little on the expensive side too. I have a few items that I go back to over and over. The salmon fish and chips is a nice twist on a pub standard. I also like to enjoy Rock Bottomís standard giant piece of carrot cake with a mug of stout occasionally.
Overall, I like RB-W enough to keep coming back. The beer variety is good and it is fairly close to my house.

Not bad if thereís nothing else around, like Warrenville. Itís still a Rock Bottom, which means the beers are sub-par and the food is decent to good. Itís nicer than your average restaurant, but not much more. Iíd go again.

Another great brewpub chain. I would recommend going if there is one in your area. The Warrenville one has a nice atmosphere and a great food and beer combination. It is a treat.
