nice, but kinda sterile. service seemed good, but the standard beers were very average. a few of the specialties were better, but still nothing exceptional.

Standard RB set up, nothing new...The beers were disappointing for 2 reasons, 1. 2 of their seaonsals were gone and not replaced with anything and 2. their samples only consisted of the RB standard beers and wouldnít let you sub out like other locals. Of the 2 seasonals they were ok, nothing special. You can skip this RB.

Stopped in try a beer on the way to a wedding. A large restaurant with a large granite square bar and a good number of TVs. Service was good and bartender was knowledgeable. Beers were hit and miss but price was fine. Had the nachos which were quite nice. A solid rock bottom.

Visited October 2010.
Arrived pretty late, after about 4 other stops so I didnt eat, just got a sampler. To my surprise they had 3 barrel aged beers on tap. One of them was pretty good (a cherry bourbon stout) the rest were a bit too boozy for their own good. The non barrel aged stuff was alright too.
Service was pretty good but it was late and there werent a ton of customers in the building, so who knows how it is when itís busy.
Some day Iíd like to revisit the place.

A very good Rock Bottom. They had the 4 standard RB beers and then 4 or 5 additional beers, including an awesome schwartzbier and a tasty malt liquor. Good service, nice ambiance and the typical RB menu. Couldnít ask for more.

Stopped by to kill some time and was able to knock out 8 samples of their beers. 5 regular corp. beers and 3 specialty beers. The place is pretty nice with a view of all their tanks and all thier awards on the walls. The crowd on a Tuesday 5ish is what you may expect, an afterwork happy hour crowd (40-50 yr olds). I did not try the food but Iíd expect it to be like all other RBs. Selection is those 8 beers, but I do like that they offer them all as sampler size. Overall a nice place but a bit corporate to me.

Nice little brew pub. Clean, upscale, and family friendly. For my money its one of the better places to hit for a bite and a brew in the area. The food is good, service is quick and light hearthed but respectful, Their brews are always tasty.
Selection is a bit limited for brews that they donít make.

Only been there once. Service was not very attentive, but we were only having beer. I found the beer to be less interesting than both the Warrenville location.

Itís weird, this is one of my favorite brewpubs. It definitely pushes the line of suburban chain, but somehow, it doesnít cross it. Very high quality beer coming out of this location and the service is top notch. Even the Chad and Trixie crowd doesnít bother me too much.
