68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 watson1977 (114) The dub c, Pennsylvania | February 12, 2013 Very big place...nice sort of sports bar meets brewpub atmosphere...definitely a chain brewpub...my only real complaint is that my bar stool had no back on it...i hate that. Service was friendly and fast...the bartenders beer knowledge was decent not great but she knew enough to get around the beer list. 8 drafts and a cask...some fairly good ones actually. Food was decent not fabulous but fairly priced...good enough lunch. Id go back to try more beers. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 12/20 Theydon_Bois (394) The ’Sham, England | January 19, 2013 Have escaped the shopping on a few occasions to relax with a beer or two in here. half a dozen or so taps and a cask line serving their own brews.
Standard RB pop up brewpub style decor. Bar tend was friendly enough on my last visit (May ’11).
Nothing special but OK to escape the shops from! | 64 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 10/20 berkshirejohn (142) Bracknell, England | September 11, 2012 This definitely felt like a chain place, but the beer was good, as was the service ant the prices (during happy hour at least). A worthwhile stopping place for a visitor. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 5/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20 italianjohn (151) Penndel, Pennsylvania | July 22, 2012 The name Rock Bottom doesn’t exactly give you the impression they have top quality beers thats for sure .... Very big brewpub with lots of restaurant seating (just kind of reminds you of a chain restaurant with art on the walls not a brewpub) and an ok sized sports bar with TV’s and brewing equipment in the background .... server was nice, but slow ... had one beer the Hop Bomb which was actually a pretty solid IPA ... they had about 8 taps with a 4 looking like norms IPA, Red Ale, cask Porter, Lager and a few seasonals ... Being right in the mall its super convenient to slip here for a beer while the ladies are shopping .. I’d come back to try the food | 80 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 13/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 16/20 BeerBellyZ (10) Pennsylvania | December 14, 2011 Always something interesting to try. Love the $2 pint specials on Thursdays. | 58 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 DiarmaidBHK (546) Pennsylvania | May 18, 2011 It all seemed rather generic. They had beers called Kolsch, White Ale, Red Ale. I almost expected to see a blue ale and on cask, though you have to give them props for having a cask, it’s beer. The place is located in a mall, which doesn’t automatically invalidate the beer, but it looks like a million other sports bars/ chain restaurants. They had the typical beers on tap for the chain and specific DIPA which I wasn’t feeling. The food was pretty good but not spectacular. | 50 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 3/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 alobar (46) Lansdale, Pennsylvania | March 27, 2011 Our introduction to this place started with being ignored by the hostesses. Place is pretty much a sports bar with an area for dining. Beers were adequate-a step above a macro, but nothing spectacular. Food was good-and we waited for it. Came to us lukewarm and out of order. When is a side salad the last dish? We were particularly disappointed that a larger party was served before we were. Probably not returning. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 8/10 VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 13/20 IrsLuver (9) Maryland | January 8, 2011 Good food, good brew what more could a person ask for. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 3/10 VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 Slipstream (82) | December 24, 2010| Updated February 13, 2011 Modern, clean brewpub located in a massive mall in the Philly suburbs. The brew is good and fresh, with about 8-9 rotating taps. They seem to usually have a lager, an IPA, and an unusual ale or two on tap. A big sampler of all their taps is available for a low price - very cool! The food was pretty standard pub grub, nothing special. The crowd was mostly white and suburban. Staff was friendly and helpful. Worth a visit. This appears to be part of a big chain. On the night I visited, Beer Maven Scott opened one of my homebrews to taste it, and it exploded all over everything. The waitress was very nice about it. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 Bricks (16) Delaware | June 26, 2010| Updated July 4, 2010 House beer is better than average as is the food. Nothing spectacular. |
