It all seemed rather generic. They had beers called Kolsch, White Ale, Red Ale. I almost expected to see a blue ale and on cask, though you have to give them props for having a cask, itís beer. The place is located in a mall, which doesnít automatically invalidate the beer, but it looks like a million other sports bars/ chain restaurants. They had the typical beers on tap for the chain and specific DIPA which I wasnít feeling. The food was pretty good but not spectacular.

Have escaped the shopping on a few occasions to relax with a beer or two in here. half a dozen or so taps and a cask line serving their own brews. Standard RB pop up brewpub style decor. Bar tend was friendly enough on my last visit (May í11). Nothing special but OK to escape the shops from!

I was really hoping to hit General Lafayette, but the freezing rain just made it too risky to drive out there. This brewpub was right near the Hampton Inn, where I was staying for the night. It was not very crowded, probably because it was a Tuesday night and the weather was bad. Ambiance is your typical chain brewpub, but it is well done and clean. The bar is long and spacious, with all the current beers up on a large chalkboard, listing the name, style, ABV, and description. They have about a dozen beers on tap, including an engine. Most of the beers were very solid and enjoyable. The bartender was ok. He kept the beers coming, but was not very sociable. I did not eat, but the food looked decent. I would return again if I needed a quick beer near the hotel. Rocl Bottom may be a chain, but each location brews itís own beers. I have yet to visit one that is bad. Put the snobbery aside and stop in for a brew or two.

It was either eat here or the food court - hmmm, fast food or beer. The beers were average and the food OK. Had that chain look and feel to me (TGIFs, Holihans, etc). I wonít go out of my way to eat/drink here again but if I find myself in the mall, Iíll probably stop by.

This definitely felt like a chain place, but the beer was good, as was the service ant the prices (during happy hour at least). A worthwhile stopping place for a visitor.

The name Rock Bottom doesnít exactly give you the impression they have top quality beers thats for sure .... Very big brewpub with lots of restaurant seating (just kind of reminds you of a chain restaurant with art on the walls not a brewpub) and an ok sized sports bar with TVís and brewing equipment in the background .... server was nice, but slow ... had one beer the Hop Bomb which was actually a pretty solid IPA ... they had about 8 taps with a 4 looking like norms IPA, Red Ale, cask Porter, Lager and a few seasonals ... Being right in the mall its super convenient to slip here for a beer while the ladies are shopping .. Iíd come back to try the food

Very big place...nice sort of sports bar meets brewpub atmosphere...definitely a chain only real complaint is that my bar stool had no back on it...i hate that. Service was friendly and fast...the bartenders beer knowledge was decent not great but she knew enough to get around the beer list. 8 drafts and a cask...some fairly good ones actually. Food was decent not fabulous but fairly priced...good enough lunch. Id go back to try more beers.

Nicely located in one of the largest malls on the East Coast, pretty decent beer, my favorite is the Double Barrell IPA, especially when they have it on cask, the food is above average, very tasty, the one bartender is very knowledgeable and very willing to talk shop with you, nice place to go to when youíre either done shopping or while your wife is

Typical chain ambiance. I had terrible service the last time I was there, though when I just go in and sit at the bar, the service is usually good. Selection is limited to Rock Bottom standards plus one or two specials. Food is usually quite good. Overall, itís 3mins from my home, but I usually only go when I know they have a new beer on tap. They also server their beers WAY TOO COLD. $2 pint Thursdays are great.
