Tried for the first time on Sat @ 3:30. Nice roomy seating area with room to move around. Large restrooms. Beyond that I wasnít impressed, actually disappointed. None of the beers they listed on their website were available. I tried a sampler flight of 4 house beers and 2 specialty beers. The only good thing about this was I was only charged $6.00 for 6 samples which is less than half of what I normally pay at other places. All of the beers had the same thing in common; watery and thin with little to no flavor at all. I knew I might not like some of the beers but maybe the food would help. They have a very large variety to choose from. After waiting about 45 minutes the food finally arrived and it was Okay but not good enough to save the day. Overall this appeared to be a nice venue. Maybe it was just an off night. But with all of the beers being Blah and food that was marginally OK, I donít see a reason to come back again. Highly disappointed at what could have been an enjoyable night out.

Received a gift card to go here so I took the lady out on a date. We had pork street tacos, an awesome bourbonzola burger and salmon and finished with a brownie sundae. The good was good but the beers were all a bit lacking. Great restaurant atmosphere and friendly service.

If youíve been to one Rock Bottom, youíve pretty much been to them all. This one is located in Homestead, over the bridge by a large strip mall. It was a great place to watch a Steelers game however. The beers were ok to pretty good (I got the IPA, white ale, sweet stout, rye ale, and pumpkin weizen). The food is standard for your American chain restaurant. If youíre in Pittsburgh for a short stay, there are definitely better places to go, but if you live here, check it out. Itís a fun place to enjoy a Steelers game.

Ambiance is a bit upscale casual brewpub, nice large eating area and big accomidating bar. Service is good, but not very knowledgable. Food is pretty good, but a bit on the expensive side. Beers or price fairly. Overall, a typical rock bottom, but not one of the better ones.

I usually donít care for the chain restaurant and brew pubs, but this place I would say is a little above average. Iíve enjoyed the beers, above average. Again their menu is typical of chain restaurant, but overall a place worth stopping every now and them. They really do nothing to keep you as a continuous customer.

A chain brewpub, to be sure, but the staff was friendly and attentive during a mid-afternoon visit. The beers were solid but not spectacular, and the food was on par with other Rock Bottoms Iíve visited. Great location if youíre in a shopping mood, with movie theater and B&N nearby. Parking is plentiful.

The atmosphere is decent and it is definitely in a good location. The selection is small, but the beer itself is pretty good. We didnít have complaints about the service or food, but thereís nothing special with either of them. Overall this is an average to above average place - a nice change of pace, but not something to make the usual spot.

Iíve visited this Rock Bottom franchise on several occasions, and have yet to be truely disappointed or wowed beyond belief. It is convenient to get to from most parts of the Pittsburgh metro area, and is built in a soulless but accomodating big-box style that allows for little, if any, wait time to be served in either the bar or dining areas. The food is decent for a national middle price range chain; nothing terrible or spectacular, but everything competently prepared. The beer selection includes four selections that are constant, with two or three that rotate about once a month. The regular offerings appear to be the same at every Rock Bottom, and are generally unexciting versions of unspectacular styles (English Pale, English Brown, Light Lager, American Wheat). The rotating taps are often quite good (American IPA & Imperial Stout), but can also seem to have been developed and brewed in a passionless manner. If one is in the mug club, he or she gets larger beers for the regular price. Both food and drink are fairly priced. Overall, not the best drinking experience available in the area, but far better than the usual restaurants.

Decent place. Generally crowded. Large open area. A bit corporate. 8 taps - 4 of them seasonals. The regulars are fairly blah but some of the seasonals are quite nice. The food is better than one would expect with a southwestern flair and decent portion sizes. Beer prices are good. Food prices about average. Service is average. Knowledge of the product is a bit lacking. This place has really grown on me over the years and I find myself coming about once a month any more.

Decent íchainí brewhouse. The brew can be average much of the time. But there is plenty for my ínon beer drinkingí wife so it is a good compromise. Easy to get to and makes a nice evening out.
