52 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 3/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 onceblind (66) Denver, Colorado | August 31, 2011 Stopped by while camping in Grand Junctiion, was pleasantly suprised to find a brewpub in the downtown area. Nice on the inside, sem-classy wood/brick combo. Didn’t eat, was just curious about the beer. Unfortunately it waqs some of the worst I had all vacation. Average at best, below average many of their selection. Standard american pub styles, nothing new or exciting. Great staff and venue, just shoddy beer. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 15/20 hellbilly (139) scottsdale über alles, Arizona | January 3, 2011 stopped in on 7/20/10...
sweet spot downtown. converted old building with exposed brewing facility. it was fairly busy at lunch time yet we still had very good service. ten or so beers on tap though they were out of the only one i really wanted to try! great laid back vibe. | 76 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 9/10 SELECTION 12/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 13/20 douglas88 (141) Salt Lake City, Utah | September 24, 2009 A cool little place in downtown Grand Junction. A smallish bar with lots of people around it even at 2PM on a Wednesday. A nice brick interior. 10 beers on tap. We got huge samplers of all of them- plus a few beers. I didn’t eat here. The bartender was really cool and attentive, plus he gave us some free samples. A nice place overall. The had growlers to go. | 54 AMBIANCE 2/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 12/20 crispyham (2) Colorado | September 19, 2009 I’m happy to have the brewbub in town but their food and beer is stilll what I would call antiheroic. | 70 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 16/20 thelady (16) fruitland, New Mexico | August 16, 2009 Beer is kinf of yeast filled, gave us the runs the next day. But just a normal brewpub, nothing great nothing bad. We’ll stop again when we drive through. | 100 AMBIANCE 5/5 SERVICE 10/10 SELECTION 15/15 FOOD 10/10 VALUE 10/10 OVERALL 20/20 jacquestorm (15) | July 29, 2009 I ALWAYS LOVE GOING HERE!!! GREAT FOOD ALWAYS AND GREAT BEER!!! | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 BeerandBlues2 (458) Hanover, Maryland | July 2, 2008 Nice building on Main Street in downtown Grand Junction. The brick walls and tall ceilings are nice but do make for a slightly noisy atmosphere, but not over the top. The food is good, and we really enjoyed the Thai Chicken Wing appetizer - a little spicy with the peanut sauce typical of Thai cooking. There were 6 house beers available. | 66 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 BrewDad (408) Olympia, | October 5, 2006| Updated September 4, 2008 Our first stop in Colorado after a breathtaking drive around there awesome National Park. The place was an old brick building in the middle of town. We where greeted with great service and the food was not bad. Watch out they think fiery hot wings are mild so take note the food was HOT. The beer was also not too bad a tad watery but not bad for after a long drive. We liked the main bar with the HD TV’s and the Monday night football on. This was a nice place and just a average Brew Pub lots of going-ons there all the time. The staff is not super knowledgeable of the beer. They are of the PBR crowd. | 64 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 Aubrey (74) Bellingham, Washington | July 7, 2005 Ambiance: Appearance-wise, it was pretty nice, with the wood and brick and all ... but the acoustics were bad (flat walls) so it was really loud. Sat at the bar (ate and drank) and had pretty good service. People around us were nice, too. Selection was average, or slightly above. Food was average pub grub ... though my order was pretty decent. The croutons and bread were way above average (must have a good baker). Had a couple decent beers. Again, average or slightly above. | 58 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 11/20 igneous1 (28) Davenport, Iowa | June 28, 2005 went there about 3 times back in 2002. enjoyed their widowmaker wheat a lot at the time. food was ok. if you order the tuna, tell them you want it rare, otherwise, they cook the piece of tuna all the way through...what a nice way to ruin a piece of tuna. |
