I didn’t even know this place existed in San Francisco until my cousins-in-law took me when I was there on business. It’s not often that the three of us get tipsy all in the same bar, but this place was that warm, comfortable, and relaxing, all the while bustling with fun and charisma. The well-lit layout encourages interaction with other patrons without the discomfort of sitting on top of people. The service was ok, but at least it wasn’t bad. You might wait for a few minutes when you make your trip up to the bar and bar keeps aren’t going to entertain many questions. But at least they’re not condescending jerks that so many craft beer joints seem to employ. There is a great selection of home and guest beers. I had a wonderful time here and would love to go back as soon as I can.

Came here a few times during a Sep ’08 visit to San Fran. Rogue only beers (from memory) which do a job but are nothing special but the atmposphere was really good here and we made friends with some of the locals, hence coming back a few times. Service was good, generous with the hard liqour pours for my girlfriend. Food was adequate bar fayre. Wouldn’t go out of the way for this place tbh - but we enjoyed it and I wasn’t ticking in 2008 so happy to drink the same thing over and again!

Had a very good experience here. Had the taster flight so tried most of their beers on tap. They have a whole other section of guest beers which gets pretty interesting. And if you still don’t find something on tap yo can go for something from their bottle shop and drink it there. The place itself is nice and clean, helpful but fun staff nice people.. definitly worth checking out..

A little slice of Oregon right here is SF! Great location in the middle of up scale north beach. The ambiance is very nice inside. It’s basically a classic old school American brewpub with a big comfortable bar and plenty of seating. The selection of Rogue beers is obviously huge with a good number of guest taps as well. I didn’t have the food. The service was friendly and attentive even though they were pretty busy. They have some outdoor seating which is nice. I really have no complaints about this place even though it’s hard for me to get excited about Rogue beer these days. This place, Churchkey and La Trappe make a pretty nice pub crawl in this section of town.

A nice bar with a lot of Rogue beers. Nice staf, they knew a lot of things about thte beers. There was also a corner where they sell de Rogue beers in bottles and of course the other things of Rogue.

Somewhat like the Rogue Public House in Portland. Packed to the gills on a Friday night- lots of beer offerings that are all available on a sampler tray. Cool atmosphere. Young folks. Fun time. Hope to be back soon.

Excellent pub a short walk from Fisherman;s Wharf. Great selection of rotating taps and very friendly bar staff who are more than willing to talk about their favorites. John John Dead Guy is excellent. A go to place when you are in SF.

I was there on the S.F. beer week pub crawl, 21 beers in 7 pubs. Crowded but we sone got a place to sit as people moved quickly between the different places. They had a huge selection of their own beers and lots of other American microbrews.

Great selection of about 20 Rogue taps and 20 other taps from local and American craft breweries. Unfortunately they only sell samplers of Rogue beers. Some Rogue bottles available to go as well. Food was quite good and reasonably priced. Overall a nice place.

The place has a good location, inside is nice, there´s a lot of beer styles, the food is just ok, good prices, but the service is bad; the positive thing is that they give you free beer ´cause they careless or whatever...
