Went there on my Oregon trip. Great place in a great town. Good selection of really good beer. Went there two nights in a row, to taste different types of beer.

Fairly boring though inoffensive place. The food was not very good and the service was so-so. Come for beer but eat dinner somewhere else. My server was completely ignorant about beer, and there were no descriptions of the beers anywhere to be found, so research your lesser-known Rogue beers before you go. Incredibly unfocused as a beer bar.

Kind fo plain looking inside- really no character. Service can be good, but the place, especially the bar, fills up very quickly with locals who can be very friendly, itís just a bit much the first time one goes in. Great selection of all Rogue beers and some thought out guest taps. Overall score get extra points for the apartments upstairs- rent one of these if you are in town. No better place to stay in town. These are not hotel rooms, but really small apartments stumbling distance from the bar.

Good selection of Rogue beer. Pub food was standard fare. Very family friendly. A little on the expensive side for brewery beer and food. This was the second visit to this location. It gets very crowded in the summer season so get there early.

In a rundown old bar. The selection of Rogue beers was fairly extensive. The food was OK, just OK. The service was not that great, as the wait for a half empty place was not really acceptable.

I have stopped in this place a couple of times. Not only do they have a great selection of the Rogue brews. They also have a few guest brews on all the time. The last time I was in on the night before we went out deep sea fishing. WOW that was not a good idea. Talk about sea sick. Next time I think i will stop in after the fishing trip.

Cool place, but service was lousy. Lots of cool pictures from the fire.

Nice clean place in a good location. It is a family friendly location with lots of good Rogue beers to choose from. I have always enjoyed myself here. I have always had good service from the staff. It isnít a place I would want to hang out in all day like some cool pubs, but it is a place to go for good beer in a small costal town.

LONG LIVE THE ROGUE NATION! This place is right in the little shopping district on the other side of the bay from the brewery. Great view of the big bridge parallel to the Ocean. Little store to buy beer in the bottle as you walk in. Amazing hospitality. Absolutly genuine people. The Public House in Newport has been one of my favorite places to stay while on vacation in Oregon. When in Newport you must stop here. Good pizza. Great Kobe burger w/ Bleu and a Santaís Private... Great taste of America!!! Plan to stay all day with the awesome locals. Charlie, Chris, Jim were all great. Thanks again, and see you all soon!!!! Once again John C. Maier is an Artisan Brewmaster of the World. Thank you John!! Prost
