Visited this public tap house the other day for the first time and now consider myself a convert. The bar has a great ambiance with rogue beer and memorabilia taking up most of the visual space. The benches in the bar area give it a neat rustic feel as well. The service was phenomenal; every question I had, and even some I did not have about the beers were answered knowledgeably. I was blown away by the selection as well; about 30 beers on tap when I visited, primarily Rogue. I know that they serve food, but I did not dine there so I can not speak on that. The value of the beer was very good as well. Taster trays of four beers were $6.50, and the seasonal is just handed out as a taster when you walk in. Overall, I would say that this is my favorite tap house/public house that I have been to. I recommend it to anyone that has not been!

I have to say first, don't go expecting overly happy, chatty bartenders, but rather the laid back, NW type slackers. This is not a bad thing, just the way it seems to be at a lot of Portland Pubs (McMenamins, etc)Having said that-the beer selection is AWESOME. As if having 20+ of their own beers on wasn't enough, they feature several rotating guest taps, such as HOD and other great locals. I only had the black bean dip, but it was very tasty. One of the managers even bought our first round when I mentioned that I was from the Midwest and loved Rogue. To use a movie cliche-"If you only visit one pub in Portland, visit Rogue."

I absolutely have to stop by this place every time Iím in Portland. You can choose from around 15-20 different beers brewed by Rogue and they offer sampler trays, so I end up trying a couple trays. Pretty cool atmosphere. It is pretty popular, so it might be quite busy.

Ambiance is pretty cool, busy, a little patio space and plenty of bar space and tables. The service was great, I thought -- I heard people complained about it but I had absolutely no problems. The food didnít look great, I didnít order any. The value was good, too, fair prices for what they offered. The selection was really nice, lots of rarer beers and seasonals. Iím a fan.

I love it! Nice feeling in there- love the red british telephone box for the cell phone people and the service is quite nice. Well - actually if you are a woman- LOL. (and no...I didnt play on that. The food was average. The beer is amazing. I wish it was right here - it would be my bar!

Right downtown in a nice district, walking distance from Bridgeport. Inside is very well decored with a restaurant side and a bar side. The bar side also has a nice viewing area for their distillery. The service is top notch here (when I went), the bartender knew tons about beer, definately a fellow beer geek. The selection of Rogue beers was jaw dropping. They only had a couple guest beers on tap at the time. Didn't try the food though. Overall this was a great place to relax and sample all the intricasies of Rogue Brewing along with buying bombers and wear on the way out!

Always worth a visit, as Rogue makes so many awesome beers. Nice and casual, great service, decent food, and all that amazing beer... Last time I was there, had an Imperial IPA and HOTD Fred...

Whoa, why have I not yet rated this place? I loved going down to Rogue when I lived in Portland. Always a great selection and the people who work there are friendly. I like to get the sampler trays, theyíre the best. If you love Rogue (and you should) this place is a must-go when in Portland.

GREAT little place. Loved the bartender (though canít remember his name after a redeye back to the east coast). Loved (most) of the beers. The outdoor seating was filled, but man o man did it fit the bill of where Iíd like to drink a few good beers with a few good friends. The selection was impressive ... as was their distillery options (spruce gin was yummy).
