Whoa, why have I not yet rated this place? I loved going down to Rogue when I lived in Portland. Always a great selection and the people who work there are friendly. I like to get the sampler trays, theyíre the best. If you love Rogue (and you should) this place is a must-go when in Portland.

Visited this public tap house the other day for the first time and now consider myself a convert. The bar has a great ambiance with rogue beer and memorabilia taking up most of the visual space. The benches in the bar area give it a neat rustic feel as well. The service was phenomenal; every question I had, and even some I did not have about the beers were answered knowledgeably. I was blown away by the selection as well; about 30 beers on tap when I visited, primarily Rogue. I know that they serve food, but I did not dine there so I can not speak on that. The value of the beer was very good as well. Taster trays of four beers were $6.50, and the seasonal is just handed out as a taster when you walk in. Overall, I would say that this is my favorite tap house/public house that I have been to. I recommend it to anyone that has not been!

Great beer and awesome servers. Atmosphere could use some work and the food was most likely pre bought frozen and prepared by a microwave. I will return for the beer but would love if rogue worked on the food and ambiance.

A perfectly fine brew-pub, but not my favourite in Portland. Food was nothing special. The selection was very large, considering it all comes from one brewery. The atmosphere and staff were nice.

Rogue has a lot of haters. I say thereís a lot of jealousy. You know what! At least Rogue didnít sell out to InBev or anything like that. They, instead, decided to create their own entire supply chain. From farm to your glass. Itís a cool space. The bartenders are a bit cheeky, but get over it. They have a strict no cell phone use at the bar policy. It is a nice policy....but there are signs EVERYWHERE that get a little obtrusive. Itís a good place to visit, but donít plan on spending all day there.

Visited Rogue in August 2012. Kind of a run down building, and the service was pretty bad/rude. Good tap list but the beers were ho-hum. Dessert wasnít anything to write home about. Just ok.

So, I had no expectations stumbling across this place. Walked inside and it was a crowded little bar of just my style. They have probably 20 things on tap. Grab a flight of stuff I had not had. On top of that the bartender was super knowledgeable (probably the most of any place I went in Portland this trip) and he probably forked over three free tasters. Big thumbs up on this place. Plus it reignited my interest in Rogue brews.

Won big points when they offered a free taster as I walked in to the place. Pretty big selection. Decent service.
