66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 9/10 OVERALL 14/20 BelgianBeerGal (58) Dayton Area, Ohio | August 21, 2012 Definitely caters to the business travelers from the surrounding hotels. We had a group and ordered 5-6 entrees and 5-6 beers with no complaints. The beers were mostly average but the Junction City Chocolate Stout was an excellent batch. Nice stop for some ratings because they do 8 pour samplers too. | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 8/15 FOOD 4/10 VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 hellbilly (139) scottsdale über alles, Arizona | March 6, 2011 stopped in 7/23/10 after learning about pickleweed at the lake...
has a gordon biersch feeling to it... difficult mall access, lots of prefab art and built in ambiance, modern design in a business district type thing...
peppy service, 8 beers on tap which are less mediocre than the food (needs salt and finesse, chef).
i guess it is worth a stop if you need to get the salt off your hands and bugs out of your teeth. | 68 AMBIANCE 4/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 14/20 Sledutah (207) Utah | December 20, 2010 I’ve been here a few times, located a few blocks north of the Layton mall in an office building. The bar area is mainly just the bar and a few tables., with a view of the brewery. Nice sized eating area. The food is decent. Beer is average. | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 10/20 douglas88 (141) Salt Lake City, Utah | September 10, 2009 Well, this is an odd place. It’s sort of in a shopping mall and it feels like you’re drinking in a IKEA. But, I liked some of the decor, and this location has more Roosters beer than the older Ogden one. They have two more taps, including the Cream Ale and the Diamondback. I didn’t eat anything, but the food looked fine. 7-8 beers on tap at all times. A good place to get some ratings if you want. | 46 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 4/10 SELECTION 7/15 FOOD 5/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 9/20 Wasatch (14) Utah | October 26, 2008| Updated December 16, 2009 Well, this Roosters just opened up a few months ago. I decided to check it out. The place is pretty big. There’s a bar, and eating area. I had a Brewhouse Burger which was not too bad (could be bigger though) also came with fries. Had a couple of there beers which I will post separtely. I got there about 5:30pm (weekday) so there was not that many people there yet, but started to come in when I left at about 7:00pm. Nice atmosphere and some great service from the hostess. I will visited this brew/pub more often since it is about a mile from my house (about time something close to me). Would highly recommend visiting when your in the area. Beermail me and I’ll join you if you like, lol
| 64 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD 7/10 VALUE 5/10 OVERALL 13/20 nearbeer (163) Knoxville, Tennessee | September 8, 2007| Updated May 5, 2011 Looks like an updated Hops - a corporate style brewpub for the traveler. Brews are average to good, food is the same. Go to MacCools Irish Pub across the street for better beer, food, and ambiance. | 66 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD 6/10 VALUE N/A OVERALL 13/20 Braudog (655) Hampton, Virginia | April 9, 2007| Updated May 5, 2011 April 2007 - Although apparently the newer Layton location of Rooster’s has been open for over a year, it has somehow not made the Places page here until now. This is a sharp, brightly decorated and stone ensconsed brewpub right outside Hill AFB. The staff was friendly and attentive and the food was at least average for a brewpub. Of the 4 beers I tried the first visit (of the 8 available), 2 were quite good and the other 2 were at least quaffable. Worth a stop if you find yourself in the area. |
