68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 11/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 13/20 SpringsLicker (120) Tennessee | September 4, 2009 Probably not as great a selection as Whole foods although the prices are a bit better, but still not comparable to Green’s | 54 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 2/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 12/20 finn1918 (11) Georgia | December 20, 2012 Good selection of beer at the back of the store, and a full wall of refrigerated bombers, tall boys, and cases of the macro stuff. The craft brews at the back were poorly organized, overpriced, and most had been gathering dust for several months, at least. Staff was friendly, but spent the entire time behind the counter at the front. Nice selection of whiskey, however. Stop by if you are driving past, but don’t bother going out of your way. | 58 AMBIANCE 1/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 6/10 OVERALL 11/20 GTAEgeek (103) Atlanta, Georgia | July 17, 2012 A large liquor store with a fair selection of beer tucked away in the back. The racks and piles of beer look disorganized and untended. The one employee on the floor was very friendly, although not particularly knowledgeable. The selection is wide and includes several brewers I’ve never seen before in Georgia. The prices are fair. Overall, this isn’t a beer store, but you could do much worse. | 56 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 6/10 SELECTION 9/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 4/10 OVERALL 10/20 MPosey (6) , Georgia | September 8, 2011 This place sometimes has some great beer finds. They usually have Bell’s expedition stout for example, sure it is $18 a sixer, but thats what it costs. Other than that most of the stuff is priced through the roof. I live very near this place, but I prefer to driver further to Total Wine - Alpharetta. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 8/10 OVERALL 14/20 Cybercat (138) Georgia | November 5, 2010 This store is geared more towards wine and hard liquor than beer, but they do have an impressive selection of micros and imports. There is a special section for singletons if you want to try one bottle rather than taking a risk on a six-pack. Other stores may have a better beer selection, but they have quite a variety - a lot more craft brew than mega brew, and an emphasis on "specialty" beer. Worth a visit if you are in the north side of Atlanta’s gravitational field. | 70 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 8/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE 7/10 OVERALL 14/20 daknole (300) Scottsdale, Arizona | August 12, 2009 Not bad selcetion and a really nice staff. They REALLY know their wine, and not bad with beer. Worth a stop if you are nearby. | 68 AMBIANCE 3/5 SERVICE 7/10 SELECTION 10/15 FOOD N/A VALUE N/A OVERALL 14/20 unclemattie (112) Georgia | September 14, 2006 Right on the corner of Holcolmb Bridge and Roswell Rd. or Hwy 92 and Hwy 9. Descent selection in the cold cases. As you walk to back of the store there is a full wall of beer. They offer a good selection of Belgium beer. Anything from Lambics to Trappists. Moderate prices for a wide selection of High Gravs. |
